I often ask myself that question in order to remind myself why I should keep going. I started learning online marketing a few years back and there have been many times when I felt that I should just quit everything. Making money online is very easy. NOT! Actually it does require some time and effort to learn the skills required, and I think some people just don't have the patience to learn. There are a lot of so called Gurus that make promises that sound very appealing specially to newbies, therefore so many people get scammed, including myself . To anyone who feels like giving up know this. The experienced marketer was once a beginner, but their determination and consistency made them Pros on the online marketing world. Educate yourself just as if you where back in school, be consistent with your method and you will see it will soon payoff..
I agree with you ESME. I wanted to quit so many times, and have too been scammed, but I stuck with it, and finally my leads started to pay off. Once you get one lead, then next thing you know you have 100 leads, and so on. It's an awesome feeling, waking up and checking your bank statements, and seeing money just build up. Don't ever give up on your dreams, and one day your dreams will come true
I also agree ESME. Making money online is like anything else in life. You get out of it, what you put into it.
True! People give up for lots of reasons, especially when those reasons cause them to be overcome with frustration. Maybe... they weren't getting the right instructions there was no clear plan to follow the plan wasn't working they lacked confidence they weren't committed they were lazy they were procrastinators they didn't have passion they are afraid of success There are thousands of reasons/excuses people use to justify their decision to just quit. And that's so sad! The reality is, there are and will always be opportunities available, and lurking around those opportunities will always be scammers, fakers and those who would take advantage of people's innocence to rip them off. But you can't let that get to you. You must keep trying after every failure. Make the necessary adjustments and move on, because, when all is said and done, you only have to succeed once! Hermas
Yah, it's really hard to work online marketing and like you ESME, I have experience to be scammed. But, I won't give up. I know I will find way to be successful. Giving up is not the option to succeed. Sometimes we just need to learn enough to achieve what we want.
You guys have made some very valid points. I think it also has to do with what business or opportunity you get into and if there is any team support. I am no expert, but my experience is, if you get in with a team and get support and encouragement then you do much better. I also think when using any type of social media you always have to keep on upbeat attitude, even if you are having the worst day. I believe people will respond better to positive speaking, thinking, acting, rather than negative.
We live in a world of instant gratification. I tell my peeps that what you create today will pay later down the road, so just keep creating and wait for the tipping point. So many give up right before that happens. Don't give up!
A lot of people do quit because they face an obstacle or a setback. They are not willing to continue and they don't see themselves successful. It is a shame because we all have the same opportunity in life to do really well. It is a shame.
Expectations. Ill managed expectations lend to quitting. As mentioned expecting some sort of instant gratification in which the person was never equipped to obtain leads to a many of disappointing outcomes. Then the blame game begins, and the quitting sinks in. Also confidence. Essential before starting. Must have or obtain the confidence that you are able to and will succeed. Evidence that it can be done is if you see other average people doing it. All The Best!
Ask ten people why they quit and you'll probably get ten different answers. On this same question, the late Jim Rohn once said, "I wouldn't go there. Don't take that course!"
A lot of people quit for many different reasons. For most people this "make money online" thing they are opportunity seekers... Yeah they will try to do it but once they hit a roadblock they will start making up excuses ie: I have no time Its too much work I cant do it.. If they only can see the big picture and the potential making money online has.. Im not a millionare but I have made sales so I know what it feels like and I know its possible....
Most people don't treat this as they would any other business. The whole idea of making money online comes with this annoying little preconceived notion that it is always a "get rich quick" mentality. You only get what you put into it. People often quit because they don't want to do what's required to succeed... And as far as "gurus", no one is responsible for your success except for yourself. All the gurus do is provide a vehicle in which you get to your destination in. The engine is the system you use, and the fuel is your traffic. Success is often just a decision, and many people don't make it... To the top, Zach Andary
It is easy to feel like quitting. I have almost done it several times but something inside me would not let me. I felt that there are others having success and so I should be able to succeed to. So I just kept at it and have finally found some things that work and I am sooo glad that I didn't quit. So don't give up. Even if you have to quit something, don't give up on everything. You can find something that will work for you if you want it bad enough.
