Building a"join" website

I just built a website that promotes e-books. How hard is it to modify my website to where people have to join to get inside? Is there a lot of special things that I have to do? What if I want it to be a monthly membership, how do I go about this?

That is a tough one - I have no idea how any of that password stuff works. However, you could promote it through Clickbank.com, and offer everything as a "package". Clickbank has full details about how to sell info products here:

Thanks. I figured it out. I purchased a whole bunch of website scripts and they have everything in the script. I even got a script to start a new online auction site.
