Deactivate link after clicking...

Does anyone know to do this or direct me on finding out this is done. I know it can be done. I want to be able to click on say link A have it switch so it is not clickable until another link is clicked which will make link A active again and link B not clickable. thanks

What do you want to achieve after clicking on the link? Or in what context are you going to use them?

I'm not sure about hyperlinks (text links) but there are something called radio buttons in HTML forms that will require you to click on only option. When one option is clicked, the other deactivates, and vice versa.

I want this in the navigation area only, what I want is to be able to click on jobs lets stay I don't the visitor to be able to click on the jobs link until they go somewhere else first. what you describe sound like what I may be looking to do.
