Just wondering if anyone has used homestead before? and how is it

I am getting ready to start using it. My friend is currently using it and she is very happy with it. Says it is easy and very affordable.

I think there are better programs out there that you can use for free, or for a lower cost, but I suppose Homestead is fairly easy if you are brand new to web design.
