I am new to creating websites etc. So excuse the lack of proper terminology here

My website is basically done. However, what I noticed was that its displaying incorrectly when I use Internet Explorer and AOL browsers. For some reason, it is showing correct in Safari. Has anybody ever had this experience? I keep trying to figure out where I went wrong, but now I'm just lost.

Thanks for your help!

You could try changing the template, because this could be part of the problem. If this doesn't help, you might want to ask your question at the Wordpress forum, where there are many Wordpress "gurus".

It's amazing what a change of template does sometimes!

Wordpress has issues with bugs in some themes this could be the problem. Then again you could have any number of things to cause it to be viewed differently in other browsers.

I have had mostly issues with it in IE some of the reasons for it were a loose tag in the header, ads in my widget being too large for the widget and any little thing that isn't in line with IE's techie rules.

Getagrip has it right WP forum is the place to find the answer if they are being nice today. Some days you get arrogance other days you get help.

I encounted the same problem once before. Try copy-and-pasting any text input onto notepad first before copy-and-pasting it back into your site, this worked for me (:

Notepad gets rid of all formatting / links / etc.

Hope this helps,
Tommy
