I'd heard of a few of these incidents as independent news items, but taken together,

Hey Denise,

That's exactly why I started that Blog, It didn't seem to me that many people put 2 and 2 together... I haven't heard any of the Mass Media Outlets saying too much.

I just took the plunge and created my first blog. I'm not sure how to go about putting ads or links into it though - I need to go back and find some additional info - but I've been reading and watching these threads on this forum about blogging, so am hoping to learn about how popular this blog thing and if it can help promote my own home based business.

But I would really like to say to mcbsconsulting that his advice has really helped and a big 'Thank you'! And also for Vishal, for creating such a great forum in the first place.

Hey Denise,
YW

I saw over at ProBlogger that Darren has a new series for Beginning Bloggers, you may want to take a gander.

If you need help on the addition of links to your blog, leave a comment on my Blog, or you can E-mail me from there.

Oh thanks, Joe. I didn't have much trouble getting it going, but I want to do other things with it, and I'm not sure if I can at this point. I'll check out that link at ProBlogger... you can never have too much information - and if I need help, I'll hollar.

You can only do so much with websites, but blogs really get people interested because they see that you're a normal person with normal problems in your life.. Not just trying to sell them your programs.

I agree, I feel more enjoy to write in a blog then to redesign or publish my website.

I've just published my blog: [Link removed - Admin] Still a lot to be done.

What's the advantage of blogs as compared with setting up a normal website?

Blog's are much easier and faster to set up. They allow you to easily add more content then just submit it to the search engines.

Content is king with the Search Engines. Google loves content.

I too am thinking about setting up a blog, actually I've signed up through Googles "Blog spot". Anybody use Googles blog system? I haven't done much yet with it but I'm getting ready to.

Any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

I use Google's blog system, it seems easier to rank in Google and get a PR with this system

Ask away! I will do my best.. I use a three column template that I just love because it is easy for me to make changes to. You can see how it looks by following the links on my website (lefthand side). I have been a pretty lazy blogger the last few months but am getting ready to start up again.
