You have joined an affiliate program, and start using their
suggested marketing tools and they give you your own
affiliate url.

Should I create my own landing page to link to the co. sales page?

Would it be better to make my prospect all warm and fuzzy with
my own landing first or just stick with company sales page?

Where does everyone stand on this one?

Hello sundown,

I feel it is usually better to create your own landing page, optimizing it for the exact keyword phrase you are targeting. If you can get the keyword in your URL that would be a great SEO bonus for you.

Once in a while you may come across a great merchant sales page, but not always...

I hope this helps..

I agree with Victoria.

The more individual you can make your landing page, or any other
marketing tool, the better your chance of standing out in the marketplace.

I agree with both of you so far, although some products sales pages convert at a very high rate and would be silly to not send your visitor straight there! One of the products I promote has a 3% conversion rate which is great, so I just send my visitors to that site!

True too. Why fix it if it's not broken?
