I have been playing around with building a website and am looking for honest feedback on it...

Is there too much info?

Too overwhelming?

Should it be more non-specific to generate leads?

Sometimes the font wants to overlap each other on my computer so I made them smaller - is the writing too small now?

I don't think I can put the link in the post here but it is the first one in my sig...

Hi Viola,

I like your site. I do think you should make the font a little biggger, at least on the home page where it's in blue. It does get a little hard to read after a few lines. That could just be me though, I'm a little blind

I like the links and the about us page. You have definately put work into it! Just one question, where do you put in your info for the ezine? (I love the, you'll get one when we get around to writing it..lol)

Thanks Lora,
I went back and just changed the color - I tried to make the font bigger and it wanted to jump off my screen at me so decided to make it black and take the italics off....

Thanks so much, that is what I am needing - good honest criticing and am still working on the ezine thing....

It could have just been me with the blue, but it's much better now!

Hi Viola,

I wish my first site looked this good......... Well done!

Couple of suggestions:

1. I have lousy internet speed and the page took a while to download. Lots of pics are good, but they slow things down. have a go at creating a second page and linking it to the first.

2. You might like to change the focus. Pull up your page - stand back from the screen - shut your eyes and then open them after a while. I was drawn to the surrounding red colour first. I suggest making the main focus the text area - try a more neutral or lower intensity background colour.

Other than that - Great ( I was going to send you a link to my first site but I chickened out - Yes, it is still there)

Regards
Paul

Just a couple of constructive crits:

I would replace that "ornbar2pink.gif" separator bar with something else. Maybe just a simple <hr /> line. That graphic was obviously designed for a page with a white background, so it just doesn't gel with the rest of your page.

Same issue with that pic of the yacht.... Maybe just crop off the white edges using whatever graphics program you have, or choose a different pic.

I have dial-up, (I know, I am a dinosaur), and the page glared at me at first, but when it loaded it looked great! Very professional. What did you use to build it with? How long did it take? The only thing I might suggest would bet to put a few more Hyperlinks in your adcopy.
