Hi,

I need some serious help on promoting my website. I know about SEO, Article Marketing, Blogging, and Social Networking.

I've done SN and SEO but I can't write for crap. Also, I do have a blog.. but I don't know how to get traffic to THAT either. Plus, even if I could I'm not the best a writing good content.

My website however, has scores of great content. I just can't seem to find a good way to get people to it.
I got scammed on one PrePaid Targeted Traffic Campaing..

I'm currently trying another:
http://www.MillionVisitorClub.com But this one doesn't seem to be working either

What other suggestions can you guys give me? Please help!!

Is your content all related to each other? Meaning do you have a site about one specific item or product?

Something I have noticed is that my sites that have too much of a variety do not get much google traffic and then a simple site with all the posts relating to one another gets much more ....

I am not the expert on all this but I am discovering that the more keyword focused I can stay, the more traffic I can get, plus with writing articles the same way that link back to the sites...

It just doesn't happen quickly though - it takes time, or at least it has for me.

Hi Aggie,

It sounds like you'd benefit from reading about how to drive traffic and how to improve your writing. Based on your post, I'd suggest pursuing it.

You can read about driving traffic on this forum and on several other work at home or online marketing sites for free. You can also Google "improve writing", "how to write", etc.

Do some reading on the two topics for a few days and see if it helps. After that, you may need to pay for a decent writing course.

If you can't write well, there is no point in trying to compete online so take it seriously and spend a few weeks or a few months on it - what ever you think you need.

I agree, spend some time getting educated on writing great articles. There is a definite process and formula to it. Try looking at high rated articles that are relevant to your topic and re write them in your own words. The key to my website traffic is based on articles so I cant really speak to the other options.

I feel your pain, It seems like even after knowing all the supposed secrets you still aren't lucky enough to get a page one ranking.

Well one thing that worked for me was posting in digg, I found that I was able to get a page one ranking in two days with my keyword.

Also keep going at it, and continue to tweek and improve upon your work, I'm not where I want to be either but each struggle or hardship makes me smarter and puts a one more step closer to my end goal

Practice makes perfect. If you are not a good writing then I agree with looking up information on how to become a good writer or to write good articles. You will get better the more you write as long as you keep the tips in mind. If your content is all the same then you can make a teaser about your blog in your resource box in your article and place your link. Watch your blog, see what the traffic is looking at and put more of what they are interested on your blog.

I took some online writing classes and it helped me to get the confidence to do it. I have no writing background and lack in the education department as well. Only went to the 8th grade!

Now I write all the time, the more I write the better I get and so will anyone who does it. Writing is something you need to develop.
