My articles generate roughly 100 views each with 10-15% clicking thru to my sites. It's not much but I don't really spend too much time article writing.

So I am a little confused. I have articles on ezine and triond, but I don't see any way to have them linked back to my blog. Did I miss something when I set up my accounts?

There's a direct link to your article. Which should be easy to find by going to your back office and clicking on the article url. What I do sometimes is just repost the article on my blog and then at the bottom have a link back to the article directory.
You can also post part of the article and have a person go to the article directly link to read the whole article.
Or just post the link itself.

Well, it takes some time, until Google(bot) will find Your Article. You can help search engines with that task, by posting little reviews of that article on blogs, bookmark this article to social websites (fastest way may be the Google Bookmarks - You must be registered to Google to use it).
But there is one thing You must remember. If You Article is not unique (taken from Affiliates promotional pages), then it may be never be indexed.

Yes, having your own unique articles can easily give your site a good way to rank well in Search engines.
