Just curious how long it took everyone to be able to see Spectrum and sign up for hours? I completed training and did my webinar but have not gotten my log-in Spectrum tab yet. The waiting is terrible, I'm afraid I'll forget everything by the time I'm able to actually work. I'm making some cheat sheets for myself using the notes I took from training but even with that I'm a little worried since it seemed some of the training was out of date or differed from what the PAL stated at the Webinar......guess I'll find out when I actually do it live, lol.

I was able to sign in to Spectrum immediately. Just FYI, I have been doing this for a month now and have only been able to pick up 5 hrs doing D.R. I just figured out that hours seem to be posted on Monday mornings just after 8am CT. Other than that, I have only been able to pick up hours for trade.

I've been working for West for 3 weeks now. I was able to sign up for hours through Spectrum 24 hours after completing my training. It seems sinceThanksgiving, everyone is trying to work extra hours for the holidays. Hours are posted sporadically thoughout every day. It's been challening signing in on Spectrum but I've been very persistent and have been able to acquire 30 hours for this week. Keep checking ALL the time and you'll have a better chance getting hours.

Thanks, still waiting. I called a PAL and they said it could take up to 2 full weeks since they have hired so many new people for the holidays. I have family arriving next week so I'm guessing that's when I'll be able to sign in, lol.

Hi Shawn! WOW, i cant believe you have to wait that long to log in! I just finished my training. Called a PAL to schedule the webinar and they said there are none open at this time. Someone will contact me by email for next process? Did you have a webinar? You think they would want us to sign in asap since its VM busy season.

Hi Rosie! Well after checking all day yesterday I figured I would give it one more shot before bed and what do you know I'm active! I went and checked the schedule for hours and they all said VMH ONLY so I guess activations can't sign up for those hours??? Yes, I did have a webinar. You should receive an email with a selection of dates and times to choose from. It lasts about 2hrs and is easy peasy. I'm guessing there will not be any hours available until Jan for us newbies but I'm not sure....Good luck, you'll get your email soon!!

thanks shawn! glad you finally got your log-ins! VMH-is that VM Hol*d*y maybe? That really should include us since VMH is all about activations. The pal I got yesterday on the phone said they may need me for VMH which is just activations in Webc*r*. Hmm. all so confusing?!

Well I wanted to make sure so I called a p*l today and she said that those hours are only for the people hired strictly for VM hol*day. So that means no hours for VMA are posted, maybe that will change.

Ok a really nice person on another board just told me that those are hours for activations!!!!! In spectrum they are coded vmh and holiday people get hours coded hvm and that you will only see hours that are for your skill. Thank goodness for a nice person because no one else on that other board lmk. I picked up a 1/2 hr just to give it a try I'll let you know how it goes. It's on Friday. Hope you get your webinar very soon!!!

Oh my gosh I feel dumb!!!!! I answered one call and the poor lady got me.....thankfully she was very nice. I think once I get used to the call flow I'll be ok but I felt very lost. Also my headset didn't work and I had to use the ol' crook of the neck to hold the phone while I typed. I know it will get better but right now I feel like I know nothing, lol!!!
