Hi, I'm new to the forum, so first of all - hello to everyone!

I'm currently working as a customer service rep for another company that has a non compete clause, but I'm not happy with the program (cell phone finance work- difficult customers!) and there are no other ones for me to pick up with them. They pay hourly and I have to keep set hours, so I thought West would give me more flexibility.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether West would be a good change for me and currently are there different skills I could choose from that would be relatively easy to pick hours up on? I am flexible and can do hours morning or night, and even weekends.

Sorry for all the questions I just hate to give up my other job if West isn't going to be able to provide me the income I need. (By the way West hired me, but I need to make a decision by today so I can get started training on a skill!)

Thanks in advance to anyone who could address my concerns!

Hello to you and hope all is going ok. Looks like I am a little late since you needed an answer on October 28th. I am with H$N which I think when I get it all down will be ok. I do know that the only skill I was offered was Dr the first day but waited and didn't pick that one right a way. Next day they had added VM then next day it was VM, Dr and H$N. So I think it rejenerates as they become available. Just depends on how long a person can wait. Hours for H$N have been all over the place. I can tell that in order to get the hours I need I will be working a little here and there till they add up. Late nights for H$N like 10pm-2 am seem to be consistantly there. Hope any of this rambling helps. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info! I did go ahead and pick DR as that was the only one available for me and I was told I had to pick a skill and start training within 5 days of hiring. So that's what I'm stuck with right now. I hope when I do start with that, eventually other skills will open up for me. I do want to spread my hours out over the day, so that will be ok if I can pick some here and there to add up. Good luck with HSN! I'll keep you posted.

Hi Caterina! I started with West on 12/10/08 and was offered DR and some kind of appliance repair appointment setting skill so I chose DR. It is going great, my stats are good, and I can usually pick up hours on the fly as needed!

How is it going for you? Did you take DR? Keep us posted!

Hugs,
