I just did my first half hour and I feel like I really messed up. I waited over a month for my password. I finally got it yesterday. I got on early this morning and grabbed a half hour spot so I wouldn't lose my skill. I sat here for 28 minutes with no activity and then boom I get a call. I completly fumbled through getting info and then she had a question that I couldn't answer and she decided she will call back later..I had a total cryfest when my shift was done. I hope my next call goes better. Thanks all for this site.

Oh don't feel bad! I did the same thing my first call yesterday. Today I've done 1.5 hours and basically everything went better. Hang in there!

webangel, it will get easier. Just remember you are still learning and west gives you 30days to get the hang of things. Once you start taking more calls, you'll feel more comfortable with the programs and questions from callers
It was smart to schedule in small increments to start, that way you won't overwhelm yourself!

I didn't know they gave you 30 days. Maybe I can breathe a little easier now!

Yeah , my hubby told me it would be fine. I just need to get in there and schedule some more time. I scheduled the short time because of this forum. I read somewhere on here to do that. That is why I love this forum. Thanks all for the encouragement.

Awww, webangel, hang in there, honey!! You will do fine!

And, yes, short shifts are great - I do the same thing!

Hugs,

webangel it will get better!! Today was the first day that I really felt confident on the phone. I finally told myself it really doesnt matter if I'm fumbling through papers or trying to look stuff up, they can't see me and now if I'm looking for an answer I'll just ask them some questions. What skill are you doing? I think I've been on the phones less than 4 hrs and I'm starting to feel good. Keep it up and you'll do fine.
