If I was any help at all, you are welcome. As for the ranking, GE always has N/A (not calculated) except for that one brief hour when they actually put a 1 in it. You can usually tell by call volume, if everyone else on chat is complaining cause its slow and you are rapped up in calls. Also, if you meet your goals, I don't know how DR ranks it but GE has like, conversion rate, AHT, things like that, and you can tell how you did that day. The way I understand it it can change daily.

I really wish West was hiring in my state. I'm going to keep trying every week to see if they are. I received a project from Cloud 10 yesterday and I was set to have my phone interview for it this evening, when I get an email stating that because I indicated I use a laptop, they couldn't hire me for that project...I'm not sure why they restrict laptops and desktops to certain projects. I asked that question and still haven't gotten an answer. To me, it doesn't make much sense.

I went through that Cloud10 thing before I got hired at West, I never bothered to complete the final process but I thought it was so funny that with each step it was a higher level, like you were literally trying to get to cloud 10. Kind of cute I guess, I had a phone interview where you had to copy and past something and send it to them.

RO..the pay for flowers is OK...i never had a problem with actually getting paid either..again, fighting for hours is no fun..as for cloud10..i have received 2 offers in the past 5 days so im trying like crazy to find a way to get my puter up to 512 RAM..my puter is 6yo so i only have 256 Ram..the two jobs they offered do pay well and i like the idea of a steady schedule..

Vagabond,
I want to let you know to try to speed up your training the hrs are available right now they already posted 5/5-5/11 schedules and West is in need of 250agents per interval that being said I THINK you should hurry up and complete the training for proflowers. If you work up 36-40hrs you will get paid 23per min $13.80 hr and there is a bonuses given out the more hrs you work the more of chance you have to win the bonuses. also West is allowing agents to work up to 60hrs a week the max. so, you get to make good money throughout that week you will also get paid overtime if you work over 40hrs. so, hurry and get started. Tigerlady,
Got a question for you regarding proflowers after the holidays will West still offer some hrs to work for the skill weekly? and if so, what is the minimum hrs they offer weekly? excluding holidays, cause I was told by a pal that we still get hrs is just not as busy as the holidays is this true or do we not get any hrs to work weekly? Ro, I got that e-mail and they are rushing us to get get done. I really don't think it is going to take me but a few hours all together though I am almost done already (unlesss it starts getting really hard). The way I understood it (and I could be wrong) theere will be hours all year, just not that many. I am hoping I will be able to do a little of both skills all year. Looking forward to working with you. Vicky P.S. How do you like it so far?

Vagabond,
I will be starting on Tuesday Morning and will let you know how it goes...in the meantime here a tip to make sure you do not fail any West exam. The questions are always the same if you fail the first time make sure you copy/paste that exam to keep it as a reminder of the questions you answered correct...then only go over the wrong questions you answered find the answer and when you do the second test you will get them all right. the second try will show the same questions just that they are switch around. but if you copy/paste you will have remembered all the questions you got right. I'm sure if you follow this advice you will ACE IT! LOL it works like a gem for me and I never have failed a test. GOOD LUCK! RO

I'm new to this but have been reading it for months now. I applied for West at Home the first of Feb. but am still showing all paperwork completed but HR must finish hiring process. I have not had an interview or anything else. I see you were just hired by them. Was that your experience too? I emailed but got no response. Your input is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi All, I finally got my Welcome letter from West. I was offered H*N. When I actually start the training will it take the whole 34 hours or can it be completed sooner. Any advice while doing the training would help. RO... I saw the last post you made about taking tests which will be very helpful. Also for anyone who works this line is there any upsells and how is the availability of hours? Cathande... to let you know I orginally applied Jan 21. So hopefully you are in line shorlty to be picked up. There was never an interview for me or the few people I know that work for W*st. I am very pleased to have this opportunity to work from home.

Hi everyone. I've finally started my training for west this week... I applied in January! Anyway, I have a few questions that I hope you all can help me with.
1) For those of you who work for HSN- Are many hours available? What is the pay like? Is there a lot of upselling? Can you tell me a little bit about your "work day"?
2) Will you be able to foward calls? i.e. you are out of town, but still want to work.. could you foward calls to your cell phone or another land line?
3) Around what time are more skills offered?
4)

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I will be picked up soon. I too have been wanting to work from home for years. I'm nervous about the skills tests. I don't always do so great on tests. Anyway, God willing I'll be working soon.

As for the HSN, I thought it was the hardest of the skills I have trained for, simply because it was a lot of stuff and because it was my first skill I had to do the ADE training also. When I was working on it there were lots of hours but that was around Christmas, there are up sells that pop up in the middle of your script, I always thought the callers were really nice but I could not seem to get the click program to work right for me. It should not take the whole 34 hours though, unless you drag it out.

Cathande,
Once you apply, and West completes the hiring process, you should get notified of the status. I would keep seeking elsewhere (which i'm sure you are) until you get a response from them. Right now, it's kind of slow with West once they pick up if everything goes well with the hiring process you should get an offer by email.

Thanks! I am searching elsewhere. I really wanted to get in with West since a friend of a relative recommended them. Do you have any idea when things will pick up? The job market outside the home in my area is really bad, but I've wanted to work from home for years anyway.

Cathande,
No I don't know when it will pick up but then again I thought that last week and they offered me the proflowers skill. So, it can be anytime soon or later not sure. However try applying for Verifast they are hiring right now and you could make up to 150-200 partime a week working 15-20hrs a week and they pay weekly. RO
