I tried to explain the Spectrum system to my SIL this way: You show up 24/7, however you must take a moment to sleep a bit, etc. and Wham! days' worth of hours are gone.
* Boss, do you need me? *
* Not now. *
* Now? *
* No. *
And on and on . . . for minutes/hours/days.

Well I am working as I type. Have been in since 8:30 CST will log out at 2:30. Talked to a PAL again about the Spectrum hour hogging macros / bots agents. Was told that within the next month WAH is rigging the system in such a way that macros / bots will be rendered completely useless. Agents who are cheating using such programs will not be able to do it ever again and everyone will be on an even playing field.
I feel better hearing this because I have a sinking feeling the reasons newbies like me have it so hard getting hours is because the experienced agents who are cheating with these programs grab up all the hours never going near their computers AND get all the rest and comfort of being able to enjoy themsleves while I go sleepless with worry and tired and stressed through my day. If macros / bots stop working then the rest of us will have it much much better.

Oh wow . . . very interesting, cookie.
I hope they will be successful disabling the bots.
Hmmm . . . I hope the same company that wrote the WPR program isn't in charge. That program is so ridiculous, IMVHO.

I agree Julianna, it is totally ridiculous. I should charge WAH for all the paper and ink I've used on this job jotting down info so I don't feel like an idiot asking the customer for the same information over and over and so I don't have to keep jumping back n forth from the Whirpool website and ADE screens.

I used to write down all of the info, also; however I stopped as it seemed that the very act of writing was taking as much time as asking again for it all . . . I just try to explain the "does not auto-populate" deal.
What a pain.
Pitiful programers.
Grrrr . . .
Thank you for your cheerfulness, tropical!

Tropical,
Have you seen any hours for Friday/Saturday yet?
I wonder if we'll have to stay awake until 2 A.M.
Last night I checked Spectrum every time I awoke.
Absurd.
