This day has worn me out! ADE had so many problems last night and for last night's shift from 4-8:30 we couldn't transfer any call for about 3 hours. Today we can transfer but i still think customers are hanging up after long holds.

we have a lot of puerto rico calls, and we need to transfer each of those call and after we transfer they also transfer to puerto rico recall..... how i know, cuz i know lolololol, also a lot a people who dont speak any spanish at all, press spanish option cuz is more faster.....lololol anyway long day for u and for me, until 10:00 working all day im tired!!

Yes, but thank Heavens the calls aren't coming in as quickly as they did last Friday. As I would end one call, another would be coming in. I was taking 20 per hour. Whew!
Something is definitely wrong with the transfers. I wish that issue could be fixed since we have to deal with so many totally irate callers.
Last week a caller wanted to hear me put down the phone, drop to my knees and beg her forgiveness for the defective part on her refrigerator. She kept screaming, "I can't hear you!" "Again!" "Apologize louder!" "Are you on your knees?" This went on for 10 min. and I finally conferenced a PAL. She went completely postal on the PAL and told her to get on her knees also. Unbelieveable. I was shaking after 20 min. of that.

Julianna I am soooo sorry. I wished I had gotten that call. I am pretty good at calming crazy people down. Next time you get a psycho don't your DARE apologize more than once or more than is understandably reasonable...and I mean if the person is degrading you and trying to force you to repeat yourself over and over like that do not do it.
Did you end up calling back a PAL after the incident was over to speak one on one with just a PAL without the unstable client listening? The PAL who was on the line with you should have called you back to give you some coaching, debriefing or at the very least, just to make sure that you were o.k. You aren't being paid enough to be screamed at for 10 minutes and then shaking afterward for another 20.

No, I did not call the PAL back nor did she call me. I have read in Chat where agents thank a PAL for their assistance during a difficult call; however I thought that we were supposed to keep everything relating to system questions, etc. and write nothing personal.
It really would have been nice if she had called me as I could have used some helpful hints regarding what to do if something of this nature happens again.
I do try to be as kind as I can be although it does unnerve me somewhat when callers take the Lord's name in vain.
OK! Back on the watch for Monday/Tuesday hours! Hahaha!
