What's the reality of marketing high ticket items? The various biz opps all have the hype and claim it's easy to sell their programs. I am looking at GRN and the reverse funnel system, but have concerns about prospects not being able to afford the initial 3K and the subsequent ad budget and ongoing monthly expenses involved. I'm sold on the product and the pay plan, but worry about how many prospects I'll have to talk to to convert to a customer or biz builder, which translates into tons of ads and a high ad budget??? Any input would be appreciated regarding the marketing of high ticket items, vs. the lower dollar program that most people can afford. Thanks and good luck with all your ventures, both personally and professionally.

Jaxman,

Price ranges matter, so do profits...

You will find many prospects NOT interested in low-ticket bizopps,
just like you will find many prospects giving up on hi tics.

Making serious profits is about finding right market for your
product rather than relying on most everyone's buying power.

Also, from my 25+ years of marketing experience and millions in sales,
selling low price/low profit products never saved me any time or
money.

Quite the opposite, actually...

If you like what you see, others will too
Decide where to find people like you and go for it. It's wide open!

To your success

Sir Thomas,

Your points are well taken. Thanks for the input. How's your GRN distributorship doing? How long have you been involved with GRN?

Regards,

Jaxman

I bought my membership in April, if I remember OK

My best results came from working GRN as any other opportunity
out there. By networking and directing prospects to my opt-in page
and then doing a follow-up.

I feel more comfortable if people know what product they will be
promoting. Hence, my focus is on Priceless Possibilities system, which promotes value of the product first.

RFS is cool, if you prefer to make things more automated, but then
you must entirely rely on softwares, servers etc. It's NOT always
as we would like it to be. You can read about it all over the place...

I will be switching my focus towards "personal contact" approach
after prospects "educate" themselves enough to have a congruent
conversation. We will have a new system in place shortly, so I'm
looking forward to it.

Do what you feel the most comfortable with and take it EZ.

Thomas- Back to the fundamentals I see. I would agree that the personal touch should be more effiective in the long run. Thanks for the input. More later...

grntravelonline writes - "One Comment: I also receive those calls.. How annoying are they? Anybody know how to stop them? Team Central Does Rock!! "

The RFS emails that are sent have a " please remove form list" notice at the bottom of the email. I removed my name from the emails, maybe that will also stop the automated calls that come in. I spoke with Phillip of Team Central today who lives in Hawaii, and he was getting those goofy calls at 3 am!!! ARGHH!!!

From what I have seen so far, Team Central does rock. It looks like I'll be joining soon, after I complete my due diligence. The leaders have done their homework. For anyone just joining the forum, their system is based on multiple business pillars (which I haven't found anywhere else), and here are just a few of them:

Team Support Second to None With Full Back Office Resources
Top-Notch Training and Mentoring
30-Day Fast Start Program
Personalized Web Sites and Auto-Responders
Free Advertising to Promote Your Business

So if you need more info on Team Central just send a private email to Chad, Terry, Bryan, Phillip or anyone else on Team Central. And of course you can contact me if you need to know about the due diligence I have done on Team Central, The Reverse Funnel System and some other teams in GRN.

Take care. More later....

Hi JM,
Thanks for the information, I'm sure it will be helpful for a LOT of people!!

I must say that Jaxman (JM) has done a TON of DD regarding GRN and the Teams available to help him out. He has gone above and beyond what most people go through, so if you're not sure exactly WHAT to look for or what to ask - contact him! He is a DD master!

Welcome to the Team!

Greetings Mister Terry,

Thanks for the warm welcome to Team Central!!! I'm ready to start securing some strong business partners. I just bought my biz opp domain name today and I will call you about the retail sites I am considering. Thanks for the input you gave me on those earlier today.

Regarding the due diligence, I always do a thorough job when seeking out new opportunities. Having been burned in the past, one can never be too cautious. Do you know which states GRN and Gold Crown Resorts corporate filings are in? I still have to check the respective secretary of states, as well as the BBB and local Chambers of Commerce.

Who's going to take the Stanley Cup this year? Go Blackhawks!

Chow for now.

Hi Joe,

I'd love to give a quick reply as well. Cost is never an issue
in GRN, unless one makes it, because we offer so many
options. I'd be happy to go over that with you if you'd like.

The RFS is only one option in GRN, but it was designed to
help others who have the same concerns as you mentioned...
closing ratio's, which even in RFS can vary.

If the cost of RFS is an issue for people, but they like some
of the aspects of it, well the good news is that there is a
new system with a calling center that will be available
soon.

Personally, I like and use a few systems in GRN, and
promote them to different target markets.

On the lower dollar programs, well, to be honest, it's
great to have something complimentary in place for
those who do not join your business right away, but
you really do not want to promote two businesses at one
time.

You could however implement a strategy that would
allow you to generate an income while people are
looking at your business online, and create free or
paid leads for yourself while doing so. I would be
happy to send info on that your way, if you'd like.

If looking at a lower end program vs. GRN, that's easy.
Just go by what product you like, leave price out of the
factor, like Terri said, there are people out there who
want what we have. Just like if you were to sell homes.
There are buyers for all price ranges.

Hope that helps,

Kim

Greetings Kim,

Thanks for the input. Just as you said, I am finding out that the product makes all the difference. Pull aside the comp plans, and just compare the product lines head-to-head. After I have done that, I have concluded that GRN is the Top Dog, when compared to CTC or Coastal, which were the others I was considering. Plus after looking at their website a few times, it is very evident that GCR/GRN is a world class company with a solid reputation dating back to 1986, offering "superior accomodations at attractive prices". Need I say more!

Good luck with your efforts. I appreciate your offer to assist, but I'll be working with Chad, Terry, Jill, Mike, Phillip, etc. of Team Central.

Chow for now.

Joe

Hi All,

May I please sneak in questions as I'm still in the "Due Diligence" mode and it's getting to "CRITICAL MASS" but alls well. These questions are to those of you using the GRN "Team Central Rotator" System.

1) Is this system available to all levels of affiliates from the $100 affiliate or for only those who bought in at the Gold or Platinum level?

2) How long would it take to get into the system once you become a "PAYING" member?

3) How long would you have access to the system....1 month...2 months...for life?

If someone would kindly answer these questions I'd be well on my way in deciding which team to join!

Many thanks,,

Tonyc

Tony C-

Welcome to the forum. The Team Central "Rotator System" should be available for all levels. I will check with Chad, aka Bizmentor, to clarify. The rotator sytem is being revised a bit, so I really can't answer your other questions, but I'll check with Chad on those as well.

We have an excellent team and if you need any more info on the due diligence end, please send me a private email. I have checked into several teams and opportunities lately, and can give you some good insight on GRN, the reverse funnel system, and some of the teams. Our team's foundation is based on ethics and integrity, with a strong philosophy of teamwork, aka "The Master Mind Alliance" (from Napolean Hill's classic book "Think and Grow Rich". And the "Rich" part refers to leading an enriching life in all areas, not just in your business practices.

Well Tony C, once again, welcome to the forum. I have learned alot from this forum in a short while. I hope everyone's posts are helpful for you. Take care.

Tony- welcome to the forum, also.

To be perfectly honest, I have never seen anyone do the level of due diligence of all available groups, teams, networks than jaxman (Joe) has done. I would strongly recommend you visit with him- of course I am happy to get on a three way conversation with anyone to openly discuss the merits of different philosophies and benefits.

That goes for anyone that is looking for the same information... and I do not believe in any high pressure or "sales" techniques...

We can have a comfortable conversation where you get answers to your questions.. and if this is right for you, we move forward together... if not, that is great and we can wish each other the best and move on as friends.

I do not subscribe to the theory that some do that we should be "selling" people on a business opportunity. At the end of the day it is your own business.. and you will have decisions to make yourself about how you want to build your own business. With me, you will certainly have a mentor- but at the end of the day you still make your own business decisions. I do not look at this industry as if someone is a "downline" or "upline"... I look at it as if we are Affiliate Partners that will be spending time together for mutual success.

I trust this helps.

Tony-

Here's a little info on GRN's parent company. They have been in business since 1986 and incorporated in the state of Florida on 7/8/99 (www.sunbiz.org to find the corporate filing info, under Florida Dept. of State, Division of Corporations).

They have an office outside of Orlando ,FL and I checked the Orlando Better Business Bureau for their current status and any complaints on file. They have a "Satisfactory Record" with the Bureau and had 1 complaint in the last 36 months, which " the company made every reasonable effort to resolve". You can confirm this at www.orlando.bbb.org.

I hope this helps with some of your due diligence.

Take care.

Thomas,

Please clarify, " "product" provider name". What are the guidelines concerning mentioning the company or products you may be promoting? It can only be mentioned in the signature section? I'll go review the posting guidelines again. Thanks.

Joe,

GRN does not allow us to publically mention the name of the company
which is a backbone for their product... 21 years old...

you've used it twice in your posts above. Just wipe them out

Hi Thomas, great to pass on the info for those not in
the know. I also often find sites that have our partial
listing of resorts link and password available without
having to opt in anywhere.

Maybe a suggestion to support from a few members
with email updates on friendly reminders would be
helpful.

Have a great weekend!

I would to thank you guys and especially Joe and Chad for your insight I got your email Joe and am reviewing it thoughtfully. Chad expect my call! Now to satisfy another curiosity.

How is GRN on short stays...say a 3 day trip to Miami, Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach. We Bahamians are addicted to these short juntas...we gat to shop at Wal-Mart you Know!!!

Hello Tonyc-

How's the Ole Island Boy doing? GRN has a seperate section devoted to short stays/hotels. The packages are from 3-5 nights, with a 3 night minimum stay, at wholesale prices. Click on "Travel Choices" at the GRN website to see the variety of vacations available such as endless holidays, hot weeks, specialty vacations, cruises, short stays, etc.

The registry of resorts includes 175 different destinations in Florida. I saw a few in the areas you mentioned above. I'm not sure if any of them in the Miami, Ft. lauderdale or West Palm Beach areas offer the short stay packages. You can go to the GRN website and click on Global Resorts Registry at the bottom right of the page. It will ask for a user and pw, enter in user: resort, pw:lookfor, to see the full directory of over 5000 worldwide destinations.

Did you ever get a chance to talk to Chad?

Regards,

I couldn't find the edit feature in the upper left corner of the post? The only items I can access there are the member profille link and the private message link.

Thanks for the message anyhow. Admin. ended up editing it for me.

Great job Joe,

Also...GRN does not allow us to post that
username and password, just give by private
invite or on the other side of an opt in form.

Have a great night!
