Noreen (and Cindy after),

Noreen,

The non-prof would get a discount on whatever they buy. This could be quite substantial since they often buy in quantity. Plus in quantity they are almost assured of getting free shipping where ever they shop.

If they wanted to, they could create a downline - maybe other institutions - and make a profit from their downline.

Cindy,

Thanx, that was very sweet. I am glad that you are fairing well.

I was considering signing up for My Power Mall. I hadn't thought of using it as a fundraiser. My kid's school is always having fundraiser's if useless junk and this would be a much better way. Everyone would be buying what they want. Is that how it works? If I have the mall, they just sign up under me and they tell all of the parents and others about it and they shop from their site?

Thanks,
Becky

Becky,

Yes, that is the way it works. You click on someone's sig and you get to have a free mall. There are over 1,000 stores. Many of them we have all been shopping in since day one. You buy what you want. Your downline buys what they want.

You get discounts on every buy. Your downline gets discounts on everything they buy. You make a percentage of the commissions that your downline generates.

You can give away free malls to your friends or to organizations. They can do the same. This is how the downline is formed. You just give away free malls. That is all there is to it. Shop or don't. You are still in the business. You don't need to spend any money to stay in. Everything is always free for everyone.

People just buy when they want and from the stores that they like. You can skip several months of not buying and you will still be in.

This is as good as it gets. There is no pressure. I'd be happy to sponsor you.

The power mall is the first deal that I have seen where my downline is successful. I have been in other programs and what I find is that if I work hard I can build a down line however the people that sign under me usually aren't as dedicated and so they usually aren't successful. My Power Mall is full of marketing advise and training to help you succeed not to mention you are joining a team that will help you accomplish your goals.

Oh yeah and did I mention it's FREEE!!!!!!

Nine in my downline in the last seven days. All I have done is put the thing in my sig and chat with you folks. People are signing up at a nice pace. And why not? The dang thing is free...

I signed up for My Power Mall and I am very disappointed in it. Why?
#1) It's hard to market. Because the web address will always be mypowermall.com first...and then the name of your mall is listed along with your referral ID. This makes it hard to get any sort of ranking in the search engines. If I do a search for My Power Mall chances are I'll never get YOUR website.

#2)There are no individual products that you sell. If a customer comes to my mall and looks up "baby blankets" they will be given a bunch of banners to online stores that might possibly carry baby blankets. Customers don't want to have to search and search and be lead through a maze to find what their looking for. Do you have it, or do you not? Ok, next! They will quickly leave my store and just do a google search for "Baby Blankets" and will more than likely NOT be led to my store.....Why? Because #1 I am unable to make individual pages of my MPM searchable in the search engines, and individual products are never listed in my store.

Sure they make the payout seem great and that some of the proceeds go to charity...yadiyadiyadah...but if you're not making any money then none of that matters does it?

This is an email I recieved from one of my downline folks - showing a letter provided by PowerMall - good idea eh? Once again - all of this is provided free - the "mall" has not cost me even a penny to sign up - and all this support is also free. They must believe in what they are doing.
....................

All,

Attached is the letter that the power mall people have written for us to direct mail to NPO's (Non-profits). I think it's pretty good and thought I would share it.

How difficult would it be to get 100 names of NPO's and drop this in the mail to them 4-6 times over the next corresponding weeks?

Just thinking out loud... <<...>>

Thanks,
...................

Snail Mail Letter

My Power Mall
Together We Can Change The World, Inc.
58 Lake Louise Drive
Bellingham, WA 98229

Date

Dear

I so believe in what you are doing and I would like to help you create ongoing funding for your organization. The first thing you need to know is that My Power Mall is completely FREE. With that in mind while being brief, let me start at the beginning. . .

Your first thought of course is, who is My Power Mall & Together We Can Change The World, Inc.? In order to answer that question I have to start with a story. In August 2001, our Founder, Ginny Dye, had a vision of utilizing the power of the Internet to change the world. In the almost 6 years since then, that vision has resulted in Together We Can Change The World, Inc. the parent company to Shop For Charity Day, Together We Can Change The World Day, Together We Can Change The World Publishing, and now their newest division My Power Mall!

Instead of forming a non-profit organization to vie for already limited funds, they decided to create a company that would provide funding and volunteers for great organizations already in existence. Their vision was to create a company that would allow your supporters to pour revenue into your organization without giving any additional money. They decided to make this their gift to the world, investing close to a half million dollars in money and time to make it a reality; then gifting it back to the world helping both organizations and individuals all over the world.

With those goals in mind, My Power Mall was born! They created a complete, On-line Shopping Mall designed to funnel profits from everyday purchases right back to organizations like yours while also providing financial freedom for the people helping you with your mission.

My Power Mall is a company...

COMMITTED TO CHANGING THE WAY FUNDRAISING IS DONE!

You may be familiar with fundraising malls. But they are different...

One of their primary goals is to be different from every other Mall out there. While there are some great Malls, their commitment is to excellence in every area. Their goal is to raise $100 MILLION for organizations in the next 12 months. They can only achieve that by doing everything a "little bit better."

They have more stores than any other Mall 1000+

Their goal is, if it can be bought, it can be bought on your Power Mall. They are committed to providing a vast variety of stores and products with each merchant meeting a strict set of criteria to ensure shopping satisfaction.

There are hundreds of name brand stores, as well as hundreds of lesser known stores that pay higher commissions.

4-75% of the purchase price on each product or service bought goes to the organization. The huge difference is that My Power Mall offers the most generous cash back program of its kind on the internet to their organizations!

My Power Mall will also give a Free Mall to any of your staff or supporters that want one allowing them to shop on the Mall and generate income for your organization and them at the same time! This is NOT an MLM or Affiliate company.

Exciting weekly & daily Shopping Alerts promote purchasing. It's not enough to build a great Mall. It's equally important to give you a reason to visit your Mall. That's where their exciting newsletters, customized store specials e-mails and all their FREE gifts come in.

Once you have received your Mall and shared it with a few people, the My Power Mall system takes over doing all the work to create money FOR you!

There is no selling, no qualifying for income, all marketing tools are Free, and no one ever has to reveal their Credit Card Info.

My Power Mall's mission is to change the way fundraising is done!

Their goal is that no one will buy anything or use a service without benefiting a cause they believe in!

I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your mission.

Sincerely,

Hi Workin4me,

It sounds like you are very frustrated. Your perceptions and conclusions are a bit surprising. I don't see anything you mentioned as a problem at all. It seems to me that you are looking at it through impatient and negative eyes. The way you have described your dilemmas makes it look like you only tried a couple ways of doing something and then gave up.

You won't get rich quick. There is no such thing except on rare occasions. Impatience won't help you or anyone else. Making money online takes time and patience.

For your numbers:

#1. It's easy to market. You can't limit your thinking to the SEO approach. I just chat in forums and people sign up under me. I don't spend a dime on anything. I get 1-2 people signing up from my sig file every day since I joined. You don't fill all nine tiers yourself. You can also advertise for free in the online classifieds. They do give you a web space. But, if you want to do the SEO approach you are welcome to also set up your own hosting. Some people do both. I just do the free way. You don't have to have your links say the whole addy either. You can see by my link that it only says Free Shopping Mall.

#2. People don't always search by "item". I rarely do. When you set up your personal mall (you get both a personal mall for your own shopping and a business mall for your sig link) you can create a favorites view. Your favorite brick and mortar stores and some online only stores show up. You know what store you want to buy your stuff from (or combination of stores) and you just look for your items in that store. That's how I always shop. I don't think it usually happens like you think it does. I'd say it usually happens the way I just described it.

It takes time to make money no matter what you are doing. Learn to consider various scenarios and possibilities instead of getting mad because you don't have a million dollar check 24 hours after you sign up. Again, you only need to have 10 people sign up under you. Each of them turn around and give away 10 free malls. Then you have 110 people in your downline. That is only through the third tier (you are tier one and your frontline it tier 2). Tier three will fill up before you know it. The power is in the automation, ease, "freeness", and shear number of downliners. Your down line will build itself. You'll see money by Christmas. Good thing you got in now. Just in time to capitalize on the Holidays.

Patience young Jedi, feel the force flowwwww.

PS. By the way, I just went and did a search. It takes a little longer than usual because the query (search) involves databases for over 1,000 stores.

It wasn't unbearably long. It was actually reasonably quick. I was presented with 7 pages. Each page had 12 stores on it. It found 12 stores that perfectly matched my search criteria. I checked several stores and they all had what I was looking for - pants.

I signed up for a mall too and I love it! I found ink cartridges for my printer way cheaper than I had been paying. My son and I picked out Halloween decorations from one of the stores. They have everything! I haven't advertised it much but I will start this weekend. Ron was a huge help in getting me started!

hi
I signed up to My Power Mall a few weeks ago.. think it is aimed mainly at the US market tho?

I'm in the UK and even though I guess the trick is to market it appropriately to get the traffic etc etc I still dont think it would work too well if you concentrate on the UK market.. ?

Dont all shout at once that the internet is global..please..
I am open to be contradited..?

I talked one of the founders of Power Mall about the UK and I was told that they are working on adding stores for Canada at this time and that they will be focusing on the UK very soon. Untill then there is no reason why someone in the UK couldn't market to people in the US.

The Power Mall is in 195 countries right now and growing fast. Remeber on the lower left corner of the shopping pages you will find a [ship to] box where you can select a country and filter the stores that ship to that country.

I was just awarded a trip to Hawaii or Mexico (my choice) for five days - four people.

All I did was build my frontline to 10. Actually I now have more than that plus the rest of my downline.

Plus I qualified for a drawing for vacation cash - just a few hundred, but I'll take it if I win!

Wow - that's awesome! I'm jealous because I love Mexico (Cozumel). Do you get that when you hit 10 or when you hit 10 in one month? I better get busy building mine!

It's a contest this month get ten in October and you get the hotel for a week in Mexico or Hawaii. You should also look at the travel gifts you get just for buying things you already need. Spend $100 online and you get a weekend spend $200 and you get a condo for a week.

Just more stuff that's Freee!!!

Hi
I have been promoting MPM for a couple of months to the US market mostly. I am based in ireland and we have shopped on it but it is a bit restricted. approx 200 stores in MPM ship to ireland. im sure many more ship to the UK.
so far we have bought domain names, software (antiviral) and clothes on it. I believe contact lenses are really cheap compared to Irish prices.
I am looking forward to improved internationall shopping as I love shopping online.

my downline is building slowly. Approx 1 in 7 are active and building their own downline. I love logging in each day to see whats happening.

The rebates are beginning to build too.

yes it takes a bit of effort to search out the best buys, but i believe if people share ideas and finds in forums such as this we will all succeed.

So for anyone who is not willing to put in a little effort to get to know your mall its not going to work. For everyone else i agree with so many posts above....Its Great and its FREE. so enjoy

Hi Amy07,
I have just checked out the web site you mentioned, and after doing a little investigation about this company my findings are THANK YOU. This home business from what I can find is infact to put it so every one can understand a no brainer. There does not seem to be 1 single flaw from what I can find so far. So I have joined.
I even checked them out on sites that report on findings regarding online businesses and all they have to say is Good things about the MPM program.
Once again thank you and I would recormend every one to check it out, you do have nothing to loose.

Me too! Folks are signing up faster and faster each week. I have 26 in my downline in the first 17 days. I even have two in my 4th tier (the big money earning tier), one in my 5th tier, and even one person in my 6th tier.

And...my frontline is a dozen wide, that totally rocks :)

I'm actually already looking for the next thing to put in my sig pretty soon to replace MPM. I won't have to keep it there much longer. I am also doing four of my own projects. Not sure what will be in my sig next.

I am NOT looking to buy into anything, so I don't even want anyone approaching me about that.

I see that a couple of you joined in the early summer. I bet your downline is huge by now. Anyone care to give a vague hint and how long you've been in?

I joined July 6, 2007. I have over 700 in my group. I personally have enrolled over 150 of which I placed some under my wife, 2 sons, and mom. People are starting to shop in their malls which is beginning to earn some commissions. This is not a get rich quick progam, but should be a great residual long term income program.

Wow - 150 in your first level? Do you mind me asking how you promote it? I'm talking to people, but they don't seem interested. Did you get more from friends and family or from random people on the internet? I haven't advertised much on the internet, but I guess I need to.

Jeff,

Excellent job guy. You must have really utilized your existing network! Yes, I look at it as part of an easy way to set up an early retirement - not an overnight quick fix. I'm into multiple income streams and I couldn't pass this one up!

southbank63,

Sure, give it a try. The only thing I have been doing to promote it since I joined (Oct. 1, a little over 2 weeks ago) is to chat on a couple forums - this one mainly. Back in the 90's we used to call them message boards.

I have done pretty well with MPM sign ups I have personally signed up 15 in 3 weeks and I work full time so I haven't put a lot of time into MPM. I have found better success signing people on the internet than with people I know. I guess you just have to be in the right frame of mind first.

I have had a few sign ups that were based on the persons need to purchase something. When I hear someone talking about buying something I convince then to look in the power mall.

When people see how easy it is to use and how practical it is for ordinary people they begin to realize the potential something like this has for growth.

I expect this will get quite large since it will appeal to everyone and I mean everyone everywhere. I like newbie shield's plan. He is just building a solid front line a then watching it grow.

It really does take on a life of it's own.

I signed up to MPM a couple months ago. I feel confident that this is a great company. I am shopping on there regularly, though I still always comparison shop and always try to find the best deal. I've found a great many deals through MPM.... rental car, blank DVD's, costumes, clothing, and more.

I do have to agree with workin4me that their search engine needs some improvement, but it's supposedly in the works and I'll give them a break since they're still relatively new. And they're doing sooo many things at once to try to make this the best opportunity out there! There is a competing online mall out there that has a great website and search abilities, BUT, they DO NOT offer the opportunity to continue to earn an income on everyone's purchases below you.

I myself am having a difficult time giving away malls. I just don't get it. My Mom has looked me in the face confused and afraid. I simply can't understand why. There is NOTHING to lose! Though, she is so NOT computer aware AT ALL and a bit nieve in general. Buying hits to my website isn't working for me, word of mouth has worked a bit, and I plan to do some other free online marketing things. Problem is I'm supposed to be taking care of my kids! Not playing on the computer all day! Ha ha! But I'm enjoying being part of this company and though I'm not raking in the dough yet, I KNOW this is going to take off soon and people are going to be asking themselves why they didn't sign up earlier. Especially b/c it's FREE and there is NO RISK and NOTHING TO LOSE! It was a no brainer for me... I signed up instantly.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I love hearing about how everyone else is doing.

Tracy

I have not done much at all - just sent some E's out and have several people signed up - a couple of which I have no idea who they are. I can only assume they clicked on the link and went forward.

Idea - of which I have not pursued - but why not go to a church - all churches seem to always need some bucks. Have the church sign up and then let the pastor or someone mention it to the congregation?

Cost is zero to the church and they could get lots of people signed on rather quickly - then promote the idea of having the church members remember to do their shopping at the mall instead of at "the mall".

If someone tries this - let us know how it went.

Bob

Hi All,
I have been with MPM only a few days and I have my first sign up , fantastic. When you look at what the possibilies are they are endless and best of all they are FREE. There are so may businesses out there and at some point they want your money, this is not the case with MPM. I see Newbie you are having great sucess getting others in your downline would you care to share a little marketing tips with us?
I must admit I am all fired up with this company, no gimmicks they are straight to the point with some great info, there is just a lot ot take in, but it is great.
If any one would like to sign up under me just click on my website.
Thanks
