 Hello, everyone I am a newbie to forums. I was needing a bit of inspiration to continue with this course so I decided to search for other PLers out there. And have obviously found them here at this forum, which is fantastic.
I have been reading thru many of the posts. There is alot of inspiration that comes out of these forums. I have been doing PL for around 5 weeks just taking my time reading all the info making sure I get it clear in my head.
Wow fellow PLers who have said that there is alot of info in this course arent wrong there is alot to read and take in . I have just started going thru the projects tab. It has got me thinking though. With the Affiliate websites which are given on the site. Can you make money from these sites. I guess everyone that joins PL gets these same templates is that right?? That must mean alot of competition surely????Like I mean thousands affiliating the same products. Just want to know if anyone has made money from these templates on the site and if so to make money do you have to market all of them or just some of them.
I think a good tip for everyone out there is to photocopy the course I know that might be a bit of paper. But Im a hard copy reader, and I keep it with me in the car and have read when in traffic or something. Always trying to make my time productive. Reading off the site makes my eyes and brain sore.

Hahaha... I like you style! Well, whatever works for you do it! And it's definitely better to make your time productive. But bookmark some stuff to read at hoe and play with it while you read.
Reading is important but you'll learn twice as much by doing it.
In regards to the templates: are you talking about AdSense sites, the pre hosted sites or the other templates? Or all of them?
Each requires a different strategy and approach. I personally make my own websites - but that comes down to your strategy and your skills.

So personally i stay away from the templates and create my own websites and if you arent comfortable with that try and create a blog on either blogger or wordpress or even a squidoo lense. (for more info on squidoo lenses talk to newbie shield)

The templates allow you to start straight away but i never made any money from them and as soon as i created a blog and started marketing that i had much more success

well, that is why we started with something, right? that is why we are named affiliate marketers, right? that is why those templates, right?
I think you've already noticed that I have created my own blog. It's just a start up and promise to work on it more at the right time. Everything in time, right? And at the right time. :d

my opinion is that they could bring you money. but not as much as if you'll do your own blog. I get traffic and results from my blog, rather than from any other affiliate templates.
but... you could do it better. it might just be because I'm a lazy boy. :d

I've never used the templates, simply because they violate the 3 rules of internet marketing:
1. Test
2. Test
3. Test
I like building my own sites because my startegy for IM is that everything is based on optimization (though you ahve to choose a good niche to start with)
