Hello All,

I am new to Coastal and I am lost. It is very hard to get in contact with my sponsor. I recently got started with some movie leads, and willing to share them with anyone who can actually help me.

Thanks for the encouraging words about Coastal, as I am considering joining. My question is regarding choice of Directors; if a Level 1 received me as a lead, and I don't want "cheat" them out of my sale, yet I want the experience of a more qualified Director to help me build my business, what Director do I choose? Am I "stuck" with this inexperienced Drector forever, or can I get advice from others?

Thanks.

Hi Andrea,

There are different groups within Coastal, some of the groups have different ways of doing things. What group are you talking to? If I know about the group I will be happy to answer that question!

About choosing a director, that's your choice! You need to go with the person that fits best with you, the one you feel comfortable with. In the end it is your business, you need to have the best coach and mentor that you can find.

Wishing you the best!

Lora

Andrea, would you want someone to think the same thing about you when they get started with you and that is the first person you are training?
You have to remember that your "inexperienced" Director is learning from someone who IS experienced. So therefore they are qualified to train you because they are teaching you what their "experienced" Director has taught them.

And yes you are more than welcomed to get advice from other directors. That's why there are forums and training calls.

Thanks Lora and shun, for your replies to my question. To address your comment, shun, regarding how I would want to be regarded as a "newbie": that is exactly what I am concerned about. I want to give an inexperienced Director the benefit of the doubt, just as I would want the same as a newbie, and that is why I wanted more information about how much access I would have to other directors. So, the more I learn, the more I see the importance of the personality fit of the director you choose to work with, and the group you work under, since it seems that you would get access to many directors within the group.

Andrea,

That's exactly it! I wasn't saying to go with a more experienced director, just one you feel you can work with. Everyone does have to start somewhere! I know that in our group there is a ton of support and training. Any time that anyone needs help with something people step up. Just last night on a Q&A call one of the new lady's had a question and 4 people stepped up to help her out! So...just as long as you can work with the director you are talking to, and they have a good support system, you should do great! Let us know how it goes for ya!

I've been looking into Coastal as a business opportunity for myself and my 2 kids and it seems to be the real deal. The initial investment isn't just some lump sum of money that goes to your director. You're actually purchasing an incredible vacation package that's yours to keep or give away piece by piece. These vacation packages are worth $15000 or more depending on the level you choose, and the bonus is that you are then a member of Coastal and can pursue the business opportunity if you wish. I was able to listen in on a training call tonight, ask questions and have my questions answered. I think this might actually be something worth investing in, especially considering what I get out of it right off the bat. Any small business you invest in is easily going to cost thousands of dollars but this one actually gives you an immediate return on your investment, plus all the training you can handle to help you move your business forward. I spent 2 hours on the phone with the person who will become my director should I sign up, and not once did I feel she was trying to sell me on the products or the business. She answered all of my questions very patiently and gave me the websites and phone numbers I need to look up the information on my own with due diligence. This is not a get-rich quick scheme. You have to work at any business, but this one looks fun, and provides your customers and team members with exciting vacation opportunities they might not otherwise be able to afford for their families. I say go for it!

Hi all!
I recently came accross Coastal Synergy Group, I had never heard of such thing before but it seemed pretty interesting especially the vacation packages. I am very interested but still very skeptical of anything new that involves investing a large amount of money because I have been burned in the past and I honestly don't want to make the same mistake again. I need someone who will tell me the real truth about Coastal Synergy Group. Not just the good juicy part of it but also the ups and downs of this business. I would like to get ALL possible informations wether they are good or bad so that I can make a wise decision. So far everything I read here is telling me how good Coastal is but no negatives, I am not afraid of negative critisism because those are actually the ones that help to build. If anyone has anything for me please let me know before I make my decision. Thanks!

Hey all, just doing some homework on Coastal as well. I like the Director who contacted me very much and I am probably going to get involved. Thanks for all the input from those who have had success for somewhat of a long term, though I have to wonder where are all the people who have been doing it for those 11 years??? Oh, and I wanted to comment as a Realtor to the person who suggested it that I find it to be a VERY good idea to promote it to them as a way for them to give closing gifts. Who wouldn't want a free vacation? Thanks again!

Hi Jenadj. The website that you get when you join coastal is optional and does not come with the package. It is a business expense.

Hi Bellisa,
The Coastal Synergy Group is a group within Coastal Vacations. There are differents support groups within Coastal that will assist you in your training. You don't have to be with one of those support groups in order to be successful with Coastal, because there is plenty of support with the original websites and the board of directors.

The only negative that I can say about Coastal is that, if you don't work, you don't get paid. Although that's not a negative in itself.

I just wanted to say congratulations to Moharley, bellisa, and lisaloveslife! Welcome to Coastal Vacations! For those of us who are already in Coastal, we know what an awesome opportunity this is. For those of you who are just getting started - just wait

The only advice I can give you is this:

- Stay plugged in to the system and the training calls!

- Dani Johnson is a great trainer, use the free tools she gives you on her website. If you don't like Dani - pick someone else, personal development is key!

- Never get lazy and quit! Most people quit when they are just one inch from success! (Besides, its fun...why would you want to quit?)

Congratulations and I wish you the best!
