I just started a Ebay Store selling wholesale items from Doba a dropship company. I've made over 20 sales in my first 3 weeks of selling. Has anyone else has tryed this method here?

I also started a Amazon Store doing the same and I hope I get the same results as on Ebay.

Good for you! That is a great start - I never had much success with that so I am going to have to take a peek at what you are doing.

I have enough irons in the fire of my own but am always on the lookout for my hubby...

I have several sites featuring amazon's items on the side bar. Initially sold quite a number of items. But the commission is just too low to catch up though they will up the commission when you sell certain number of sales.

Glad that you have managed to make 20 sales within the first 3 weeks. Keep it up and report your results here.

I tried the Doba drop shipping on eBay and found the market way too over saturated. I did embed an amazon store into my website with relevant products and have experience some good sales.

I'm glad to hear that you have had good success with Doba. A friend of mine does very well with Doba as well, he opened up an eBay Pro Store and sends customers to his own store versus eBay. He has an ad in our hometown paper and many weekly repeat customers.

He also added products from SMC to his store. He said the profit margin is much higher than Doba's, the only problem is, you have to buy the product with your money to sell it.

I like your Amazon store.

I was using one of my websites to sell electronics from a drop ship electronics source in china and i was selling my items for 35% more than cost. I did that for 2 years and then the company i was working with closed, I guess that was just my luck. Now i do affiliate marketing i like commission basis just as good though.

I did for a while. I went out on ebay and found an already made site that they said was producing. What the heck it was only $25! It had a nice domain name (domain worth a lot more than $25). So I figured how could I lose?

Anyway.... I sold a BUNCH of stuff, but found myself having to give refunds on about half of it. Drop shipper NEVER had it in stock.

SO be careful if you choose a drop shipper. Make sure you get some good feedback on them.

later...

Although I don't do the typical dropship services myself, I did look into it a while ago and the most reputable place to find reliable drop ship sources was Worldwide Brands.

If you are serious about dropshipping, joining WWB is probably your best investment. It's a one time fee for lifetime membership.

Blessings,
Angie

I have done dropshipping in the past, and I even managed to make a little money at it. I did it mainly through E-Bay, but I found that in order to make a decent profit with it, you would have to charge way more than the products were worth. This was due to the ever rising costs that E-Bay charges you to list things.

Doba is one of the most highly recommended of all dropshipping companies that I am aware of. Most of money came from selling Leather Goods from a free dropshipping company though.

Good Luck with your endeavor.

hi, am a Mum at home 3 kids, new to ALL this stuff, and don't understand most of it. Have a few moments every few days to try and find a bit of extra money on the net. Sell stuff on ebay sometimes, don't make much, wondered what dropshipping is.
I buy most of my stuff from friends or garage sales or op shops, but my house is full TO THE BRIM of clutter, as sometimes it sells and sometimes it doesn't.
What can you tell me about dropshipping, maybe it is an option for me, help

Helen

Hey, I know that company! What kind of stuff are you selling? I'm mostly into selling Cameras, GPS, headphiones, and other electronics. My sales are very frequent (Meaning, I'm not going to quit my day-job anytime soon) but they're okay. I'm mostly an Amazon guy myself, I never had much luck with Ebay. It's kind of hard at first, but after you get the hang of it, It's not too bad.
Good Luck with it!
