Good to know! Another factor you might want to look at is Google Page rank.

Don't worry! Relax, it's ok! That just means that Google indexed new information. The more information you provide, the more you will get indexed into Google.com

Hi Robin (and John),

You can Google "indexed pages" and similar.

You can also use the "site" command on a search engine such as Google like so: site:www.yoursite.com

If you want to get ranked good on google keep adding content to it everyday!!! When the googlebot reads your site and see there is something new it will come back more often to index it meaning it will get ranked higher each time... The more googles bot indexes your site with new info the higher ranks youll get...

And to add on to what NS was saying about how to know how many pages google has already indexed for your site....

John's 2 108 000 reference was Alexa "The Web Information Company"... they basically take stats of internet hotness .

For PageRank, you can use a PageRank Checker like:
http://pr.blogflux.com to tell you the current figure.

One of my sites moves around a bit. I quit looking..I figure if I take the time I make the usual rounds every morning..visit, check Clickbank, etc..I can write an article with that time.

With the new Market Samurai Rank Checker module..no more guess work. I am just in love with this tool.

Hi John,

You were right to be concerned but I am pleased all is well now. Unfortunately whilst the vast majority of our tasks are performed quite easily by the programs we receive, occasionally they go wrong.

When they do we all panic, you are not alone but usually the problems on the internet are fixed fairly quickly, don't beat yourself up.

When everything goes pear shaped and I get all sorts of error messages I think well my ISP is sound, my PC is sound so I log off and the next morning everything is fine. It's the nature of the beast I'm afraid,

best wishes,

Mal.

Sites with content that's not spammable will always be indexed by Google.
The question you have to ask is "which page is it on?"

To boost the ranking, you'll need good quality relevant backlinks.
