I have been bloggin away, 9-12 hours a day and I feel I am making some headway and learning soooooooooooo much! I wanted to share some new links I found in my research to help me be successful in monetizing my blog. I hope someone will be helped also by the sites I came across, all free by the way. The first one is in my signature link, under my blog link. 3 from the list at that site, I am especially interested in, I will put them right below:
http://www.payu2blog.com/
http://www.blogsvertise.com
http://smorty.com/

I have not fully researched any of them in depth so please do that if interested. They may not be as helpful as I think Just like sharing what I find in my "cyber" travel because of all the help I've received on this site.

By the way, I spent 3 hours just getting photos uploaded from my camera, getting them the right size for my blog and getting the "codes" for them correct. It was grueling but I learned. Most of the problem was a slow internet connection(and I have wireless!! ) but also just learning how the blog "elements" and layouts work. If anyone needs help, I would be glad to help you. I go to the "help" sections of the programs I use, like Adsense. If you are like me, you need help "yesterday"

Everyone have a great day!

Denise - your blog is STUNNING!!! I love it and here is a tip for you... gardening is BIG right now... and with your pictures and expertise, you may do okay with a blog JUST on gardening as well.

(here is the reason for a blog JUST on gardening -if you keep ALL the posts in a blog in the gardening topic it will rank better on google - and get you more traffic...targeted traffic that will be interested in other stuff on your blog... )

I was doing keyword research on gardeing stuff for one of my blogs and it was very interesting what I ran across....

Your blogs are so well done ... Plus there are great gardening things to promote thru Commission Junction and places like shareasale.com as well, that you could add as you go along...

Just thought I'd share that with you - that should keep you going another 9 - 12 hours today - lol

You are getting it girl!

oh - another thought - are you tracking anything on your blogs so that you know where your traffic is coming from and how much you are getting?? If not, just go to statcounter.com and follow the steps to get a free html code that you can insert into one of the bottom html gadgets on your blog and it will tell you a lot of really interesting things about your visitors.

It will give you a small counter on your blog but then all the stats will be in your counter back office...

I wouldn't be without it.

Oh darlin, thank you soooooooooo much. That so encouraged me, I can't thank you enough. And..........guess what? I have a blog named and ready to go on Home and Garden. But now that you advised me and told me "why" it is best to do it just on Gardening, I will change the title!!! I will get with Commission Junction as well as sharesale!

Again, I just can't thank you enough I am so grateful, denise

Hi Oregon,

Just to clarify: The blogspot blog is your own while the three in the body text and the second one in your sig file are not yours, though you've found them to be helpful?

Hi Denise,

You are doing great! Remember to research you keywords for Gardening and narrow down you niche. I typed in gardening affiliate in google and there were tons of options!!!

Yes, so I am thinking I shouldn't have listed it in my signature becasue it made it look like "my" site right?

I get that Thank you for the heads up, denise

Hi Robin Yes, I will do that for sure! I have been working on getting the Astore Widget to match up with my site today. Seems every detail takes so long, then by end of day, I haven't accomplished much on my "list" of things to do Oh well, I suppose everyone has those days. I put the Stat counter up as Mountain Mom suggested and wowwwwwwww, I can't believe I've had 37 on one blog and 39 on the other. Now I am scrambling to make sure I don't lose those folks, that something grabs them and.........they also come back, for more punishment, LOLLLLLLL!!!

ttyl girlfriend

You bet darlin! My neighbor edie gave me this whole pack of CDs on Photoshop type stuff. It isn't photoshop but if I can make my own backgrounds I can add those to my site for folks to use. I saw a site today with backgrounds and this gal was selling them. I could do that maybe. I wanted some of hers bad but I couldn't afford them. I think a lot of people would rather buy a template or background rather than make one themselves like moi!!! LOL See you soon!

Hi Oregon,

Because MountainMom said "...your blogs (blog plural) are so well done...".

Additionally, it'll show up in other threads. It's up to you whether or not you remove it from your sig link. Folks tend to think it belongs to you when it is listed in that area.

Your choice!

Hi folks, if you stop by and see this post, the original I did here, I wanted you to know that I removed the "101 ways to monetize your blog" from my signature as I wanted to add my new blog. Here is the addy for the 101 Ways,
http://www.insidecrm.com/features/101-ways-monetize-blogn122007/

That site has helped me a lot but also, I can't say enough about how much help RobininCarolina and MountainMom have given me.

Thanks to everyone though as I can't remember all the names of folks that have helped me.

See you soon, denise
PS Im going to do a post in web design(blog actually)if there is a topic for that here at WAFH.
