It sounds like a big deal when put that way, doesn't it?

Who here is using Facebook Ads to promote a network marketing business?

I would definitely recommend promoting a generic capture page instead of your business, of course, but I want to know who is getting in on this. A lot of top marketers are really getting the ball rolling with Facebook Ads, so I recommend learning more about it before it turns into another Google Adwords fiasco.

I have generated a few leads with the $50 I put on the account with more than half left, as I am in the testing phase still. I am coming to find out that you can generate some extremely targeted leads with this resource, down to age, school, who they are friends with, their interests, and more. My cost per click was down to $0.15 within days, and I am working on getting it lower and more efficient.

So, who here is getting in on this?

Sounds pretty good.

I haven't taken the time to learn it and jump on board yet.

I guess I feel some other things are still taking priority before that :P.

Congrats on your results so far.

Did you buy the new FBAdPower from Ryan Deiss?

Matt

Facebook is the place. Marketing online does not have to be and really it isn't a difficult thing. Go where the people are and present your stuff consistently.

I know of one person, who has primarily, used facebook to build his team of over 1000 members. Naturally, I'm applying that same strategy.

There are various approaches, from fan pages, to groups, and ads (although facebook doesn't openly let you advertise with their paid service any "get rich quick scheme" as they ignorantly put it), but that doesn't stop the show.

So yes, get in on facebook. I'm pledging myself to a consistent marketing plan, as of October 1.

And I think I may check out their movie.

I didn't, but I had access to a recorded training webinar by Jonathan Budd, which really got me started. Since I have some interest (I am not sure what) on Facebook, I see at least 3 or 4 of JB's ads every single day, so he knows what he is doing for sure.

He is actually launching a new product on it, but I have to keep focus on building my business which is so easy to stray from here online.

It is a pain. I have had several ads approved, but one particular ad, no matter how I word it, Facebook will not approve.

Oh, and I am sure plenty of other places do this as well, but if you purchase hosting from GoDaddy, they give you $50 Facebook Ad Credit. I always recommend using a coupon for the testing phase, which is what I did.

Facebook is a great place to market online and is really underutilized. Though it is a great place, dont overlook other areas such as Google Adwords and Yahoo/MSN Advertising venues. If you learn how to do Pay-Per Click right you can bring in some serious revenue, not only from signing up new reps but probably more through the sales of your products.

The market is very saturated with people promoting the business side through ads that it can get fairly expensive. I suggest leading with your product online, generate some sales that will fund your PPC then pitch the opportunity to the people that bought your product. If they are buying them and you can teach them how to get their product for free it is fairly easy to get them to sign up.

FB is a great place to market, all you have to do is find your target audience. you can go to Alexa or quancast to research the site and see who is looking at the site. Then set your target within the FB ad configurations. Congrats on your venture.
