There are a couple of programs that are free that most people don't know about. One is the free online cash system. It pays 150 to every person you refer. It is an opportunity for no out of pocket cost. I know of an opportunity for business fronters with the prosperity cast network. I pay $250 per sale plus monthly bonus for the top producer. I provide training on top of that for both business. I do them so people can leverage that money into the business that they will eventually be running as well as getting some experience in training and mentoring

Newbie Shield is right, the powermall opportunity is the one thing anybody can do no matter what their financial condition. Everything is free and you can actually work the business with no out-of-pocket costs whatsoever until you decide if and when you want to invest more in your business.
I'm doing it and I haven't spent a penny yet and it is actually working for me. Unlike everything else I have ever tried.
I highly reccomend it for its cost, free, its training, free, and its support, unlimited and free too. Doesn't come any cheaper than free. And, you never have to worry about trying to get a refund if you don't like it because it didn't cost you anything to try it.

Avon is still the best all most free MLM it's $10 to join which includes your kit and catalogs and they've been around for over a hundred years. They are the largest cosmetic company in the world and they even offer you a website for $7.50 a campaign but if just one customer orders off your website the fee is waived.

Free is great for some. SFI is "free." However, the business that brought us home from our jobs was the one we invested $3200 to start and invested thousands in advertising for a couple years. In my experience, I have found that if something is "free" then folks will "try" it for a few days and quit. But if they have invested their sweat and blood into something there is a far better chance they will take it serious and treat it like a business and not some get rich tomorrow thing.

sorta true Mark,, but some really don't have any money to invest so they need a Free program. I like SFI and it is rewarding to get a member or 2 in your downline that really had no money and no idea how to get an internet biz rolling. I get emails from them all the time thanking me for the help and the opportunity. I geve em all the info I can form me as well as my upline that really know what they are doing.
Staying in touch with your members not only helps them but You as well..

I promote several free businesses for I have found most don't want to spend a dime, never mind there time, so free is attractive, but the numbers aren't there to support free is worth it for most.
Bottom line is this, I have found a few people who were so down on their luck they could not afford a pay to play business, so there are a few success stories, but the majority of do nothing people won't do any better in a free business than they would if it cost the usual few hundred dollars.
It is always up to the person, and free has little to do with it other than attracting more signups more easily, but as to the success ratio, nothing changes, most people fail for a good reason, they don't do anything. Ofter times what is free isn't taken seriously by many, so this too is a huge mistake I have seen people make.
I like free, and I promote a portfolio of free programs knowing with my strategy of getting on top of Google I will catch more than my fair share of freebie seekers who just may make some sales or a purchase. Even if they don't work the business seriously, they are interested in the value offered, or the convenience, and the discount offered via becoming a free distributor.
I have plenty of great stories where a person tripped across someong who went crazy with business, and one lady recently saw all this money pass her by because she didn't qualify with one sale or purchase, so she got motivated fast, so you never know, but free does attract more attention than the pay to play businesses.

I agree with Mark Perry.
Free is great and all but in my experience when someone is given something for free they dont tend to see the value and it is easy to give up.
When you invest a little money in a program most people aren't so quick to give it up and lose their money they will try it out for a while.
Most people dont put in the time to make their MLM or online business succeed, nothing comes without a little hard work and effort.
I have been having great success with success university and their educational courses are excellent for anyone wanting to succeed in business. This of course is not free but you get what you pay for.

I also joined a site where it is free for 7 days then $10 a month. GDI it's called. But to me, it is worth the $10 for my own page to run my Antique Shop online. Been looking around and just about died looking at the prices to get your own website. This is the main reason I joined, I don't even know if I will make anything, as I'm not trying real hard, but Like I said, as soon as I figure all the mumbo-jumbo out, I will atleast have my personal Antiques site up and running.

We offer a free trial and yes I will use that to promote, but only as a last resort. Here's why. Most time, no, not allways, but most time, people who are looking for something for nothing, nothing is all they end up putting into it and you cannot grow a business on nothing.
Why do people think they can own their own business and not have to invest in it. That's an oxymoron, anyway. How can you say you own something you didn't purchase? Ok, you can own something that is "given" to you, but how many of you think someone is going to "give" you a business and "give" you success, and "give" you that long term passive income you desire?
It takes time, personal effort, and personal investment to build a successful business. Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themself. This world does not give something for nothing, not in business, not in life. You have to sew a garden to reap crops. You have to invest in a business to reap financial reward. Even if you are working a job, you have to invest your time, more of it than you probably want to invest, to receive a paycheck.
It's just silly to banter about back and forth about this business is free to join, that one costs too much, etc. Find something you can be passionate about, something you can believe in with products you can support, and jump in with both feet. Don't make your decision based on how much you have to pay to get in. If the above conditions are met, just get in. Pay the fees and get in. Then buy advertising, buy product to share with other people, buy business cards, buy ad space, invest in your business and it will invest in you.
Ok, I'll jump down from my soapbox, now.

Free to Join network marketing companies are all well and good.
However bottomline in network marketing is if product does not move no body gets paid. Even if you join for free you must make some purchases to achieve results for two reasons.
First reason it is a good idea to buy your own product and try it so you can explain it to others with some level of authority. And secondly network marketing is a business of duplication if you join for free and spend nothing chances are your downline will to.

And on a separate point, I won't say I'll never join another MLM company again, because I might in future, but I guarantee that I'll never join one that's free to join!

For every person that you sponsor you get $40 right to your paypal account within 12-24hours.
Then if you want to make more money "leverage" you can tap into the next income step "step2" in total there are 10 income streams.
Step 2-10 will require you to pay a one time fee. ex, step 2 requires a one time $29 fee

I'm in the GBG business which was free to join, with a $19.95 product purchase. Definitely beats the other "expensive" programs I have tried.. those being Quixtar and MonaVie. I made a $23 check back the first month in also!
