My kids never liked to eat papayas and pineapples but loved mangoes and strawberries. Therefore, I decided to make daily smoothies that consisted of these four fruits.

The main reason was to encourage them into eating a variety of fruits and also cut down their juice intake.

I purchase my fruits on a weekly basis. Wash them and place them multiple zip-lock freezer bags. Each bag with will consist of a cup of each fruit.

When it's time to make my smoothie, i just remove the bag from the freezer, let it thaw in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Add
1 cup of Ice
1 cup of any fruit juice if you wish to do so ( I prefer passion juice)

Blend the mixture in a food processor until smooth.

I make smoothies on a daily basis, and my kids love it.

And if you want them to get some vegetables then you can add a little to that juice. They will never know it unless they see you do it.

brikays,

That does sound delicious. It would be a great treat too with the hot Summer days coing up.
