So has the coupon program already launched? I read back here and found a mention that it would launch in February, then a later post said March 1. Today being March 8, I am wondering if it is under way, or if it has been postponed again.

I am waiting to know it has launched before I go any further with this. Until there is actually a program running, with coupons being sent out and people making money, this is still pie in the sky.

Why is there a big ad showing up in my post??? I did not put it there!

After reading through all of these posts, I noticed that EVERYONE is ONLY talking about making money with this business.
Since this is under BUSINESSES AND OPPORTUNITIES here at this forum that is to be expected, and I am ok with that.

HOWEVER, what about inherent VALUE in the actual product/service being offered?

I tried GROUPONS and found it pretty useless.
Price savings on things I wouldn't purchase anyway.

I watched videos at The Customer Advantage and noticed the same thing - 50% savings on a night out at an overpriced high class restaurant for example.
Not something I can imagine a lot of people using.
Not enough people to support earnings for huge memberships with large downlines anyway.

Typically overpriced services that people trying to save money shouldn't be considering in the first place.
Can you imagine rolling into a swanky joint, with your favorite arm attachement, dressed to impress, and whipping out a COUPON???

I decided against pushing The Customer Advantage, but I won't knock the opportunity for others.
It sounds like a good deal to get savings on ANYTHING nowadays.
But if it's not that great of a value or use to enough people in the first place, all the downline members in the world won't make it any better.

good luck 2u!

Barb, don't worry about that. The Founder himself said last Monday that he is still testing ads for the coop and has made great progress. He is about to unleash some of his marketing strategies for the coop and expects members to get more than their 15. Great things are coming soon.

Thanks for the reply Mike.

Hi Mike, have you joined Groupon or Living Social or any of the other sites, so you have that experience under your belt?

Anybody else? I'm very interested in knowing.

The Customer Advantage is now over 53,000 members. It's growing at about 2500 people a day. I've signed up 14 people in the past 7 days. it's picking up for me. I see good things about TCA and expect that the growth will accellerate even more. I think they will go over 100,000 sign-ups bt the 15th of next month. We can party them. I hope the company runs a 100 k contest.

I signed up just over a week ago and already have 5 people sponsored and they have already sponsored 9 more people. I have never seen anything like this, its like they say its Viral. The plan is also something that I have never seen before. Free to join and no monthly minimums!!!! Best of all its promoting local businesses which is good for the local economy. I joined at 38,000 and it is already over 50,000. I'm just trying to hang on LOL.

With great respect for your opinion, I could not disagree more TJamMoneyMan. 50 million people are using groupon and it works great! And yes I am a member. Right now I can get 50% of at Papa Johns pizza. Not the "swanky joint" scenario you quote. Or how about 50% off of chocolate at a nearby store. With Easter, everyone is buying chocolate.....and I can get mine for 50% less!

TCA is targeting small businesses...not the Big Box stores. The Founder actually cares about jobs in the US and believes TCA will help the small Mom and Pops stores! I am all in and believe I will soon be impressed.

I have recently joined Groupon and do think there is great value, it's free with no obligation. If I don't like/need/want the deal, I don't buy.

TCA should be the same except they will pays us to spread the word and use the coupons. I really think this is super cool with massive potential to earn a very, very healthy income. Will wait and see but I expect a great Christmas! haheha

Are people in TCA to make money or to rave about a bunch of free people that have registered?

Signing up a bunch of free people that can't even buy coupons in their area to make you, or new affiliates, money is not something to be excited about.

I think you guys have a workable business model here, but we can't go about getting people excited about such things, as if they represent income or success.

Anyone should be able to sign many people up for something that takes a free registration, but making money working from home online is where the rubber meets the road.

Those of you pursuing this biz would be wise to be involved in something else just as consumer friendly, but that can make you some money with that same team, while waiting to hopefully get results from TCA.

In reality TCA is going to be more than a year or 2 from spreading across the USA into the small business in the major cities to sub major cities.

Lets not get too hyped up on helping the company build its database when you are not even able to make any money or little relative to the people you have in place in the areas they have coupons readily available.

Diversify your income streams to create maximum long lasting home income success.

PassiveMike, do you know if they are sending out coupons yet? Or if not, when they plan to?

Interesting,

No doubt, in a recession this severe, everyone is looking to save money, and I have used Groupon a few times, and it can be well worth it if you get an offer you would have used anyhow, such as a half off meal, or other product or service.

I was thinking of promoting my free offers through these companines, so I was curious, has anyone actually used these last minute coupon deals to promote their business and boost sales? It is one thing to promote these programs, but another to evaluate if they are worth it to promote your own deals.

Success to all,

Hey there Passive Mike.
Glad this works for you!

My 'swanky joint' reference was about the 50% savings on a $150 dinner deal mentioned in the TCA video.
I sat through that video to see if TCA was as good as some folx here are claiming.

I know this isn't GROUPONS but I signed up for Groupons awhile ago, after hearing about a guy that was on a cross country journey or something like that - maybe a quest to live so many days on Groupons alone.
I don't remember exactly.

But it got me to thinking GROUPONS could be practical.
Here in Philadelphia, PA I found nothing useful on Groupons.
Not for me.
Not on my budget.

As I notice the posts here, I see that I am not the only one who feels this way.

Personally I'd like to see something like this take off and prove it's VALUE.
I'd be happy to save money on things I actually need and use.

If you or anyone can show me deals of this nature that are actually practical, I'd be happy to spread the word.
Here and elsewhere.

Barb, nope, not yet. No offers have been sent out. Last webinar I attended, the Founder said offers will be sent "this month for sure". He also said the first offers will be nationwide from companies we will instantly recognize.

The video package (video emailing and conferencing) has been delayed. The company apparently jacked up the prices so the Founder is dealing with another provider. More to come...

61,000 members now. We are all waiting for this to get off the ground!

Hello everyone!

This is great info on The Customer Advantage! I signed up as well & I am waiting to see how it will pan out.

Another great site is Moolala.

They already have thousands of members making significant money. It's 100% free. It's a really straight forward model that pays you 2% for life for anyone you refer (5 levels deep). It's not as confusing or misleading as other sites I've joined.

Moolala has tons of great deals LIVE and most importantly... I'm already getting paid!!!

Best of luck to each of you!

How well does CustomerAdvantage work in very rural areas? How does one find out if any businesses in their area are participating?

INTERESTING POST HERE!!!

Here's a 'similar' post from a different forum by someone with username kxy (hmmm, now where did I see that username before?):

"Hello!

I understand your frustration with TCA...it seems odd when they avoid questions.

You should check out another site that operate sort of like TCA, but they are already up and running...with daily deals and cash flow.

If you have some time, you should give it a look. It's been fun for me! "

TJam, thanks for that link. I have been really questioning this program, and your link provides some important information about the founder. Obviously the writer is biased against him and his background, but it does give food for thought, to be wary of anything Milanski is involved in.

I really wish, for the sake of everyone who has signed up for The Cusomter Advantage, that it will work out for them. At least it did not cost anything to sign up for it (unless you count the $75 people have paid to get 15 [rather questionable] sign-ups for their downline.).

There have been red flags circling this program, to my eye. And still no coupons have been sent out (although it was supposed to start in February), no one has made any money. Delays, inflated projected income figures, rather frantic sales pitches, a lot of rah-rah with nothing to back it up...

I am still wondering how businesses who join this coupon program will make any money. 50% off their product or service, 5% commission to each person on the downline, and TCA itself must be expecting to get some return as well.

I had been holding off doing anything with this until it actually launched. Unless people start posting here that they are making money on this, I would not want to invest any time in it, and I certainly would not be able to recommend it to anyone unless I knew it worked the way it is promised to work.

Good luck to all of you - I hope my doubts are wrong and you harvest great riches from this! (No, that's not sarcasm - I do mean it.) I will be watching this forum, so let us know how you are doing please!

Well that is the money. I'm sure a many of people got in on that good ole Guarantee. Will see if it is delivered. But I wouldn't be holding my breath. Fact is he can't support a network and back office of tens of thousands of people without at least something like $10/m. Bandwidth Ain't Free Folks, and neither is serious home business building.

I never understood people getting excited about signing up a bunch of people for something for free in which they were not making any money and the prospects of making money was subject to a local build up of business participation that was speculative as to participation.

There are several other little companies attempting to do the same thing, that's attempt to get a piece of Groupon & Living Social. Good luck on that!

One thing for sure, nice way to build a list free, and then turn around and come up with a marketing cost fee to make some money on that group. If you can't sign someone up for free registration on your own, you probably shouldn't pay for that either.

I'm just saying...be real to yourself. If you aren't going to work a business that only required free registration, don't go into business.

As previously noted, there are other real opportunities to make money and save money working from home, diversification of income streams is what many forget to do.

Agreed,

Having researched Groupon and LivingSocial, I see how they are making money, but to think any new company can really compete is a stretch as I see it. No doubt instant coupon industry is exploding in these difficult times, but you have to have deep pockets to launch a program like this, and it appears this is not the case with this one. It looks to be more of a typical jump on the hot industry start up.

I applied to be a promotor with Groupon and the hoops one has to jump through indicate a lot of people are involved. I have interacted with three people to date, and they require company history and evaluation, customer satisfaction list, you have to personally call to be interviewed, etc., so this is how a real business operates before accepting offers, and I doubt we will ever see any worthwhile coupons from The Customer Advantage deal, but we shall see. You never know until you know, but who would spend $75. for a few free sign ups?

Success to all,
