I just registered with TradeKey. they are a buying/selling network. I thought it might work with well with ebay. I can't go further until I register a company name with them - wich I don't have yet. Anyone have any experience with them - they seem fairly legit.

TradeKey.com is a good option for B2B trade. They have over more than 1.3 million registered members which is no doubt a handsome number. They must be doing good. There shouldn't be any problem in giving it a try. Start with a free account and upgrade if you feel like they worth it.

Before ordering, check the credentials of the sellers thoroughly

I did a google search for myself to have peace of mind but the reviews are pretty negative and sounds like a folks have been scammed. I got price quotes from one of the companies that sounded good but if they are not original ipods, etc...what's the point?

Hope this helps!

I'm thinking of doing business with tradekeys, but it sounds too good to be true. More suggestions are welcome.

I wouldn't go near TradeKey. I looked into it for quite awhile but never bought anything because it just seemed a little off to me. When I realized most everything is from China, I knew it had to be replica products. If you're going into business and are looking for wholesalers you might could fine something there, but most everything they sell is just fake electronics or replica designer handbags or clothes.

I prefer to deal with european b2b platform. I use momoway business searcher is more transparent, but still always make double, tripple check of my prospective supplier, this is my recipe for avoiding scams

Trade key is a scam in and of itself. I got a call from them 2 days after filling out my profile but I did not post it. They claimed several companies wanted to do business with me as soon as I became a member......how is this possible when the profile I set up was not visible. They use high preasure sales tactics to get you to buy in as a supplier I can only imagine they are the same if you are a buyer. My response to them and yours should be the same.

as per our conversation,

you claimed there was several companies interested in doing business with me and I should become a member so they will contact me
to do business. How is this possible when as you can see my Company Profile is not posted. Shame on you and TradeKey for using high
pressure sales tactics to try an get a few bucks out of me. You are a pitiful human being to participate in such a scam. Get some morals
and a job you can take pride in. People like you cater to the dreams of the naive and foolish. God will sort you out if you dont do it yourself.

Remove my name and account information from your database. Any further contact from your company will be met with extreme hostility.

Marktech

A vendor called Golden Temple with 4200 Trust Points, which would be GREAT trustworthiness sent me what was supposed to be Cialis. Lab tests showed it contained no Cialis. The vendor got very indignant about it being good. I asked to return it so he could test it and he showed some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I think Tradekey has compromised credibility in their Trust Points, which I believe a vendor can buy. But then isn't this a Chinese company, and even though their are quality vendors there, there are many vendors who sold that poison melamine so pet foods would analyze as having more protein than they had.

Trade Key is a complete scam! I order to Apple laptops 2weeks before Christmas and it has been 3 weeks and I still haven't received my product. They had a holiday special that they called it where you buy 2 and get one free. Well I should have known that it was a scam because who's going to give away a free Apple lap top. So do not buy from anyone on Trade Key! This lady sent me to different tracking numbers that both went to to different address! She was also responding to me after the first tracking number package didn't reach me. But this second tracking number she gave me and it went to a different address she has not responded! These are scams!!!!! This is my last time order anything again! I have never had this problem and I have gotten things from overseas.

These are the emails that we sending back and forth. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS WOMAN OR TRADE KEY!!!! ITS A SCAM!!!!!

I am a member of both alibaba.com and tradekey.com

People often complaint about just every other b2b site they found online. People are not even happy of alibaba. There are several negative comments ans scam stories of alibaba. Same goes with tradekey
But if you read the complete stories, all share some common things.

1. Buyer was buying products which are simply can not be sold at any place except the licensed distributors example ipods, Iphones etc

2. The original price of product is more than $500 where as the sellers are giving it for $180 or way less than the original price.

3. Buyers get so desperate that they do not authenticate sellers by calling or asking for company proof.

4. They used western union as payment method which does not give any protection to buyer.

These are the common things with alibaba, tradekey, global sources, made-in-china etc.

But if you analyze the whole situation, only buyer is responsible for such blunder because when they can see that the original product cannot be sold, why were they expecting to get one for as cheap as peanuts....

So its your fault if you get scammed and not alibaba or tradekey fault. Its your responsibility to check and authenticate sellers and act sensibly when you get dirt cheap branded products.
Its your responsibility to protect your child when he is young or you can not blame government or car manufacturers for accidents.
