Isn't this an awesome company, and with each presidential call it just gets better. I love the fact that this is something that I take ownership of, and it works.

Thanks for reaching out and saying hi!

I`m interested in joining but would first like to know how the commission works.

I have read all the info on the site and see that RTA`s and CTA`s get 70% of commissions from sales. From my experience in the travel industry I know that the average commission is usually around 10% to 15%. (RTA`s do not get commission from stand-alone airfare sales)

Would we get 70% of that 10% ?
So for a $1000 sale I would get $70 ??

Another Question:

For those with experience of Traverus, what is the average time period for getting commission?

at first, i learned abt YTB and made research about it. and then while doing a research i came accross Traverus Travel and thought that the compensation plan is much better than YTB not to mention the sign up fee. but before entering into this venture, i need to think about the market first. Though i know that the pay is attractive, i have to think how possible it is. there are 2 ways to make money here, one is when u sell a tour or airline tkt or book a hotel you'll get a commission out of sale. the other one is by having someone sign up and you'll get a part of the money that the person paid for signing up and that person should have someone to sign up under her name so she can also make money, that's what we call networking. im thinking, what if nobody wants to sign up bcoz they dont want to spend money in this kind of business. so i wont make money too. how can i make this attractive that would help me to make people join. the business is about travel and there's a lot of people who travels. im realistic so i made some research on how competitive it is in the market so i look on the other sites that sell air fare, the price in traverus is higher that the one site that i found. even if i have a friend whose work involves travelling, practically wise she would choose to buy air fare ticket to a site that has lesser price. so how could i make money out of that, how could i convice friends, relatives etc to join in this network if their thinking is just like my thinking. is there a way traverus travel be competitive on prices when it comes to tour, airfare, hotels, rental car? i would like a business that is tangible and not just look for people to sign up, of course if convince a person to join, i should talk sweet and promise her that it's a very good business opportunity, what if she can't sell coz of uncompetitive price and what if she can't find somebody to join her network...my word of honor will vanish and that person would just think im a scam.

if i join traverus travel, how can i be able to have a site of my own (host a site)? do CTA's hosts sites too? if i sign up under a founders club member as a CTA (not under a RA/CTA), would it make a difference?i knew lots of people who travel for business and vacation, if i became a CTA can i match other travel agency's price?

From what i understand the main ofc of traverus travel is located in plano tx just miles where i live, i was trying to call them several times. nobody did answer except the recording, i left a msg so many times. they never call back. if i become CTA and need support, what if they wont call back too?

Let me see if i can answer some of your questions.

It does not matter if you enroll under a RTA or CTA. You'll get support and training.

As a CTA you can contact the vendors directly to book travel and the rates are a lot better your commission is also higher.

We all get our own travel portal - booking engine.

Our support comes from our respective teams and the corporate staff. Our travel training is done by a lady who has been in the travel agency industry for 25+ years.

As far as comparing airfare - you really won't find much of a difference of lower prices anywhere. That's just the industry.

The deals are with the vacations, packages, cruises etc etc.

You would market yourself as a Travel Agent - those looking to book travel know and trust you many would prefer to give you the business than a faceless website on the internet.

I hope this helps.
