Faithhopelove,

Welcome to the forum. I really don't know how many teams there are in Traverus. At first it didn't start out as teams. I didn't join a team, I joined a person and then found out I was on a really fantastic team. We all help each other in the company as a whole so the team thing is not as important.

Your second question, yes, I feel the booking engine is very comparable to the others out there. We just got a new wholesale booking portal that will increase our commissions by getting rid of the middle man. Please pm me and I will send you my site for the new webportal and you can check it out yourself and compare prices.

Thanks,
Becky West

Becky is right there are so many different groups the one I'm on is really great we have group training at least once a week. The new travel portal is fantastic we get the same commission 70% as before but the commission paid to the company is higher it offers cruises, vacation packages, flights, rental cars, tickets, travel insurance and soon will have wedding packages. I went with TraVerus after doing alot of research on the other companies, they didn't have the pay plan we have the great celebrity spokes people we have and the other never got back to me when I emailed them. Hope you join the team everyone is very helpful. If you have any querstions I can be reached at 352-637-4254.

I am just loving this new booking portal. It is so professional looking and easy to use. The last minute cruises are really a bargain. Anyone want to see my booking portal just pm me and I will send you the link. It is getting close to vacation time.

I am looking into the Traverus Travel Agency and i see there is such a great potential can somebody please explain how one would make a fast residual income with this program? I am already working my own MLM business but this seems like it could be a good backup plan just incase things don't go to well with my existing business. I am not interested in joining this company at the moment however any information you could give me stating how well the advertising campaigns are working for people and what is the cost of your advertising monthly to make a good residual income say 1000 to 2000 a month or more. Just Wondering Thanks guys.

Hi Micah,
I'm glad your looking into what TraVerus has to offer.
Since you already own your own business, you do have an understanding of what it takes to create fast residual income.
That is getting out there and marketing, marketing, marketing!
If your a go getter and have a good understanding of who we are and how to market, you could realistically create this type of residual in a short time frame.

If you haven't already, take a look at the comp. plan here:
zippytravelagent DOT com
(we aren't allowed to place links in the forum)

Hope this helps in some way.
If you have further questions just post them here or give one of us a call.
Cindy

I have heard of Traverus and am interested in learning more about the specifics if someone could please fill me in. We got involved with YTB about 2 months ago and have had tremendous success so far. I know YTB and Traverus are both travel businesses but I am just curious what the differences are. I feel like I picked the right one since we have already been so successful, but it is always good to look at other options. If you go to www.howifiredmyboss.com it shows all of YTB's features, comp plan, etc broken down really simple. Is there a site like that for Traverus that will break it down for me?

Thanks!

Hello All!

Just wanted to introduce myself... I'm not new to Traverus, but I am new to this site. Even though I have a wonderful team that has great support, it's nice to see I can come here anytime for extra help.

Also wanted to say everyone I've met with Traverus and everyone here seems to be kind and helpful. This shows what a wonderful family Traverus is, from the "big hearted" President/CEO to all of us agents.

Again, hello to my Traverus family and those who are looking to become part of our family!

Paulette

First, I'd like to say welcome to the forum Paulette! You're right, there are a lot of wonderful people in this company.

Again, welcome to the forum! Glad to have ya.

This is for Michael,
Congratulations on your success so far with your travel biz.
You have ask for differences in YTB and TraVerus.
I can only tell ya what I know.
CTA's with TraVerus are trained to work directly with the travel suppliers.
We earn 70% plus TRUE booking commissions, by calling suppliers or by booking travel directly with the suppliers through our new Revelex booking engine.
In the beginning TraVerus used the Travelocity booking engine, same as YTB does now.
When agencies use travel consolidators like Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, etc.......the consolidator takes their cut of the booking commissions (this could be as high as 50%) before passing on the remainder to the host agency to be split between host and agent.

As I stated above we have a new booking engine that allows us to book directly with suppliers, therefore we have cut out the middle man (Travelocity).

I haven't studied the comp. plan with YTB, so no opinion there.
I feel that the comp plan w/TraVerus is awesome and you can do a comparison by taking a look here: zippytravelagent.com

Hope this has helped,
Best of luck in your travel biz.
Cindy

Cindy, thank you for the warm welcome!

Michael,

I like to congratulate you also with your success. I believe if you are successful with a network marking company, you can be successful in any other as long as you have a good product. And travel as Casper said, "it's a product that people actually want".

You asked the differences between YTB and Traverus. To add what Cindy said, Traverus as of now has a low start up of only $199.99. Before I joined I compared all of the travel businesses and what attracted me to Traverus was the celebrity spokesperson, it extends internationally, and the Member Trips. Most of all , like Cindy said and I'm sure everyone can agree with me, the compensation plan is awesome! It is truly the best!!!

As long as you're confident and comfortable in what you promote... your success will follow.

I wish you much luck and continued success.

Paulette

Hey Everybody and thanks for the welcome and welcome to you Paulette for joining this forum.

Casper, you will love to work with Traverus, it's a wonderful company, if you are interested in joining as a CTA you should definitely join before tomorrow night.....right now you can join as a RTA for $199.90 and upgrade in the back office to CTA for $50....from what i have heard it will be $150 to upgrade to CTA on monday...but hey you never know what our wonderful CEO and President David Manning is up to, maybe he will extend this on tomorrow nights presidents call.

To Michael, congrats on being successful with YTB, i know some people who are doing great with them. I think Cindy said it right, i don't know much about YTB, i do have some people in my team who used to be with YTB though but i never looked into them very closely, but from what i have heard you need to enroll 6 people to earn $150, and you also have to pay around $150 for training ( i could be wrong about this but this is only what i have heard from YTB people)

With Traverus you earn $50/person for the first 2 people you enroll and after that it's $50+$20 coded bonus so from 3 people that you enroll you have already earned $170 as a weekly quick start bonus. this is just one way to get paid, we have many great ways to get paid, check out the site that Cindy provided.

All My Best!

~Jessica
