Hello,

I need some help. Please go through the following details

1) I created a lens => http://squidoo.com/clixsense-scam (Admin, this is just to give the links to the users and not advertising)
2) Added links in blogs (In PR 1 and PR 0 blogs.) - Please PM me for the links I have added my lens website.
3) For the keyword "clixsense" it was listed in 6 th page and for "clixsense scam" it was listed in 2nd page.
4) After two days, I was shocked. The lens was out of Google Index.

I did everything correct. I started adding links before getting indexed. Is this the concern or any thing else.

Please help me, I am really confused.

Regards
Sam

Hi Sam,

I don't think you did anything wrong, per se. You've just learned a lesson about Google...they can drop you for no reason at all; they just decided to do the Google dance and you're one of the victims. I've had lots of pages that have been dropped and then indexed again a few months, sometimes a few weeks or days later. The key is to not waste time tweaking your page. Move on to the next one. The more links you have, the more likely you are to be noticed and indexed again.

One thing I would suggest is to use one of your keywords for your username instead of just your name. I understand that you can use more than one username but you have to have different email addresses. Maybe someone else with more Squidoo experience can clarify that?

Anyway, hang in there!

Eunice

Hey Sam - it is very normal for Google to go bounce your lens all over the place especially about two weeks or so after you first publish it...

I would go in and edit a few things on your lens, then go add your RSS feed to feedage.com....

Sometimes that helps it bounce back quicker but in all honesty, just keep linking to it from other places, like artices, etc, and it will come back.

Now the lens is being reindexed and ranked in 2nd page for the secondary keyword. But still dropped for the primary keyword.

Let me see how it goes...

I like this alot, when i release another webpage ill keep this in mind. If it didn't take alot of effort I would be doing this already.

I have a good little trick that seems to work pretty good for me. If you utilize Twitter here is what I do when one of my lenses or articles starts to sag in the ratings.

1. Update your lens
2. Twitter your link to produce 30 to 40 unique hits
3. Then ping your lens

I have had some pretty good results and usualy within a day or so I am back to my original spot.

Hope this helps!

Hello, one thing about Google is they can drop any website at any time. I would recommend you keep your lens updated and maybe this will help keep your website on Google and people coming back to your website.
