Hi I'm hoping to get some advice from you more experienced Networkers.

I'm looking for the best place to advertise for experienced network marketers, as I've got a brand new (to the UK) opportunity.

I've tried Twitter, Facebook, Gumtree etc but all the people seem to want is those dodgy get rich quick schemes, with photos of cash or getting paid to send emails (yeah really) I want people who are will to work, and to be appropriately compensated on many levels.

I do not mind paying to advertise, but I really want people with experience, who understand how it works, with downlines, compensation plans, etc

    So where should I advertise???

    Many thanks for any help

Pay per click by Google or Bing is what I would use.
Also find website's that are in the same category as your product that get lots of traffic and pay for a banner ads on those sites.

Thank you very much Newoak, I will look into Google and Bing, when you say in the same category, you don't mean a rival product do you?

For example an expats website I use called thaivisa dot com, it has news and forum for westerner living in Thailand.
Companies that advertise on this site would be Visa services, Dating websites, Thai Language schools and any other service that would suit a Expat living in Thailand.

Another example if you were selling a beauty product, you would advertise on a fashion site.

What kind of business are you in?

Pay advertising is a great and fast way (must know what you are doing) to grow your business. You need to first find out where your target audience is and then where they hang out at and advertise there. For example you wouldn't advertise your health and wealth product in a travel group.

That is a question everyone asks, where to advertise to get the experienced networkers, only problem is, everyone will be promoting their own programs and the experienced are already promoting one or more programs, so this is not an easy task, whether you are using free or paid advertising.

In my experience, you really have to work at it, establish yourself on forums like this freely giving advice, not pumping your own deal is best way to cultivate a following, but it takes time. I use to use adsense when it launched and it worked better than all the others as I could pick my niche based on keywords, but today, most people will only click on organic search results, as is the case with me. I wouldn't waste my time or money on adsence any longer unless you want to spend a ton of money with little results. Just look at the competition for your keywords and if their are dozens promoting on same search results, you will have little success unless you pay the most to get on top of list of PPC ads.

Simply put, when I started the cost per click for most keywords was below .30, and today, you are lucky to get results at $1.00 plus, so beware, you don't want to waste your money. Banner ads work well when placed in a specific area where your propsects visit, so check your competition, this will give you a good idea where they are promoting their opportunties. It all starts and ends with having a great product at a great price with a huge international market, so tell us what business you chose and I am sure you will get more specific suggestions. You found this forum, and many professionals are members, but again, most experienced networkers are already committed to their businesses.

    Success to all

Thank you for all your replies. I've finally got an adword advert running, it took 4 attempts to get it to go live, who would have thought using capitals in the title would be disallowed???

Anyway I'm going to look at your other suggestions, I had never thought that everyone would be wanting the same thing as me, so thats shocked me a little, but I'll keep trying

Good luck liza with your Adwords, remember to track your ads and when you get an ad that converts, stay with that ad and put more money into it.

A friend of mine is trying to get me to do google pages instead of facebook ones. He suggests that just the improvement on seo is worth the switch.

Hi Liza, awesome that you are going ahead with your ads well done! you are a step ahead of a lot of network marketers. What ad are you putting up on facebook? Just be careful with MLM/ work from home they don't like it and will shut your account down eventually. I have seen it so many times.
