I am trying to get referral to my Cashcrate site. I provide cash incentive for joining up my referral link, but I am unable to get traffic to my site. Are there any program out there that can bring legit traffic to my blog site.

What you need to learn is how to market products and services online. I'd suggest checking out Wealthy Affiliate.

The best way to get targeted traffic, IMHO, to to write, or have them written for you, articles and submit them to article directories.

You should read The Ultimate Website Traffic Funnel [Link removed - Admin] to learn about the process. It's a free PDF, not an affiliate link.

How much traffic can one expect from an article posted in an article directory.

There is definative amount of traffic. Traffic depends on a lot of things when it comes to articles:

1. How good is the article? If the reader finds it very informative and interesting they probably click through to your site. When you write the article you don't want to give away all the secrets or good stuff in the article, you want to encourage people to click through to your site to 'learn' more.

2. The keyword phrases you target and use in your article. You want a keyword phrase that has a few searches for it each day (2 or 3), but more importantly, has only 1 - 100 other websites that also have that keyword (they will be your competition, (why compete with 10,000 - 1,000,000 sites?)

3. read that ebook I mentioned to learn the entire process.

I have gotten quite a bit of traffic from article marketing. It's not instant, but if you do it consistently you will start seeing an increase in traffic within a couple weeks.

A great tool that I use is Article Submitter. It's free and it will help speed up the whole process.

Good Luck!

I suggest starting a blog at squidoo.com

Lots of experts there and also you can get your page noticed with quality, informative posts.

You could also try the link exchange and hits website. Do a search on how to get free hit.

Article marketing is the way to go...
I have articles that are months old that still make top 10, top 5 & top 2 ...and like 2 top 1's in google searches of over 200k. I get TONS of traffic from these articles.

The trick really is to back link the articles correctly and have your key words done right. I explain how to do this in my guide some, but you could write an entire book on this 1 method of marketing

What I love most about article marketing is looking at my top spots on google and then feeling releaved that i'm not having to pay for the marketing spot like the poor saps to the right of me

google: GDI review, review is GDI a scam for some examples...doesn't take long to find me.

IF you look at the article for these two searches they are for things people will generally type when doing their research for GDI.

BACK TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION:
I really don't like cashcrate as i've found it to be difficult to get people to believe in it. I prefer hits4pay and other PTC sites for extra income. I would try my hand with one of these types of programs...but do be careful and do your research as there are many out there that are just scams.

Blogging is an excellent way to achieve branding and backlinks which will, over time, drive a lot of traffic to your site. Commenting in blogs and forums that allow signature files with links is another good way. So, stay in this and other forums, post coments, start topics, etc. Another free way to generate traffic is by opt in or permission emailing. I have added a number of people to my downline as a result of permission email campaigns.

You have to be careful though, you don't want to be accused of spamming. If you craft your emails well, and ONLY ask for permission to show your site, in your first email, you are not likely to be accused of sending out spam. Once people respond with permission, you can email them all you want, about whatever promotion you want, until they either join you or opt out. If they ask to be removed from your list, do so promptly and NEVER send them another email.
