Hi
What type of work at home opportunities have you looked into. I have a home based business that I love. I've been with the organization about a year now.

I TOO ARE SEARCHING TO WORK FROM HOME, MAKING REAL MONEY. YES, I'VE TALKED TO A MILLION HERBALIFE, MELALEUCA, GOJI JUICE, COASTAL VACATIONS, SHAKLEE, PREPAID LEGAL, EMERALD PASSPORT, ANDN THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. YOU DON'T MAKE MUCH WITH THE HERBALIFE AND MELALEUCA, AND HAVE TO BUY PRODUCT FROM THEM EVERY MONTH, I WANT LEGITIMATE WORK, GOOD MONEY, AND I MEAN GOOD MONEY, NOT ASKING TO MAKE THOUSANDS. ANY IDEAS...

If you are looking for a work at home job, you will most likely need some specific training. So, if you need a paycheck, your best bet is to not quit your day job. Instead, start to build a business while you are still working.

Direct sales opportunities are businesses. It is your business, and you make money by your own efforts. You will need to do the legwork and establish your biz before you see any real money. If you do that you will eventually be able to work at home, and make real money.

If you are not interested in starting your own business, you should look in the telecommuting folders on other boards, or maybe try craigs list.

It's important to understand that it takes time and effort to start making money at home (or anywhere else for that matter). A lot of people sign up with a program, do a few marketing trys, then give up after a short period of time. In my opinion, it's vital to find a program that will teach you step-by-step what to do and when to do it, then have patience to achieve your desired outcome. It has taken me about two years to see progress, but when it starts...watch out!

Hello VNA, (wow this thread is quite old)

Well, I think the path to go is to start a website. You can sell music, collectables, software, ect. ect. Go for the ecommerce guys. Its very fast, you can get your site up within a day or 2. Their technicians will work every step of the way to get you site up, you just have to express your likings and walla! a high-grade store front with credit card processor, shopping cart, search engine, ect. all components already finished. All you have to do is to fill in your products. Find anything you wish to sell that will sell. If you have a hobby, perhaps you can integrate it with your business. That was how I did it. I love collecting plants. Recently, I found out that people are in for my plants, and guess what? Ya I sell plants now on my online site made and hosted by www.yourecommerce.com. They are truely great people and I highly admire their integrity. Just my thoughts for you though.

Hope I was of any use,
Ben
