Don't know much about online surveys, but I presume from your subject that you have to pay these survey companies to register? How does it work?

You should never have to pay to do surveys. I take surveys all the time. Sometimes I get money, sometimes I get a product to test or sometimes I get points to save for money or gifts. Some of the sites I like are:
