This is perhaps some of the worst network marketing advice you can get. All given by my "former" upline "leader":

1) "Don't bother calling. Just go to their home, and they will let you in and listen to you, or at least entertain you."

-- Sure... after an hour in a traffic jam, with a hungry stomach, and the ever present suprise that there may be no one at home, I'm not sure if I have the spirit to entertain THEM..

2) "Go to your prospect's home, and fetch them for the meeting"

-- Yet another way to waste your time

3) "Just show them the marketing plan, and they will change their mind"

--- This are truly wise words from a network marketing genious. No wonder he's been at it for 15 years and still not a top earner...

Thank god for the Internet, and books Smile

1. Just keep talking, if somebody says it is not a good time to talk

2. Talk, talk, talk and never let the other person "in"

3. Hang up without a word, if somebody tells you they are not interested

4. Explain in detail how your mother and grandmother just LOVE the product

5. Tell them YOU really need the money

This is hilarious.

Clearly the business is going great, eh? LOL

This is a great thread. Anyone have any more examples of "bad advice"?

Be a "Phd", keep on talking, and try to make the business more complicated than it really is. Laughing

Funny stuff. I am so thankful for the Internet. I don't have to drive people nuts in my local area. I can do my business online and have a normal life offline. The Internet has allowed me to learn so much that I could have never learned otherwise.
