Very good point MomPowerEarner as I said, if you check the ratings that should keep you with honest sellers. I have had many good gigs but unfortunately a couple of bad experiences! But you make a good point!!!

I do some work on fiverr, actually just started a few months ago, and am doing okay with it. I think you need to just be careful and pick the jobs carefully. Get the gigs to replace the jobs you would be doing yourself, but find it cheaper in the long run to pay for it.

I ordered several gigs recently on Fiverr and am satisfied with the results. I am definitely planning on using the service again. The price is right and if you are selective and careful, you can get a good deal. For example, ask for a site link before making a purchase so you can check traffic. The individuals I've worked with on Fiverr have been very accommodating and I have seen increased traffic to my listings on eBay. :)
  6. I heard about Fiverr and I am kinda hesitant in using their service. It is very cheap to get a quality work for only $5. I just can't imagine having 100 likes for my Facebook page. Are they just dummy accounts? I would rather go for natural growth than a very suspicious move.

You're right to be selective Christian. I wouldn't suggest that you use Fiverr for getting artificial 'likes' etc, but Fiverr can be very good for getting graphics designed and other similar tasks.

When creating a genuine online business, "manipulation" is definitely something to avoid in relation to the search engines, etc. Be genuine and keep it real and just keep persevering and you'll do well.

Especially since you actually only get FOUR dollars, after their cut!

  9. Spot on Angie. Manipulation will only get you on Google's bad side and you do not want that. With focus and the right drive to succeed, you will achieve what you want to achieve. :)

  12. Hello,

I wanted to reply and share my experience with Fiverr and some things I have learned about them. I am not sure about Hourlies so I can't comment there but this is my experience with Fiverr...

I do use Fiverr for some projects and have been very happy with everything. I used them to create some eCovers and headers and in my opinion they turned out great. Now, I believe Fiverr is good for somethings and not so good for others. For example, if you want headers, eCovers, graphics made, etc... they can be great. I am very selective about who I use though. I always look to see how long the designer has been a member of Fiverr, what their level is, what their rating is (100%), and how many comments they have and actually read through the comments/reviews.

What I don't use Fiverr for is to get traffic of any kind. I don't recommend them for any social media or anything like that.

Hope this helps. Always do your homework for anything. Research everything inside and out and do your due diligence.

    Kevin :)

Sites like Fiverr are a good idea but you may want to consider other outsourcing options as well.

There's only so much work you are going to get out of a person for the $4 they will net - it all depends on the person doing the work, and what they are willing to do for $4.
The country/economy they are living in making all the difference!

You usually get what you pay for with stuff like that. There is no easy way to riches and advertising. Home business is all about ROI. If I spend 25 cents on advertising can I get back 50 cents or even 100 cents. Paying someone five bucks to get your worthless traffic or to spin articles for you that will never get picked up is just a waste of time.

Well I am in the process of using fiverr for the first time, and will see my results. I think its a little chancy but your not really losing much and probably have more to gain.

I have used Fiverr a few times and was actually pleasantly surprised at the results:) I asked for mostly help with backlinks, since I wasn't sure about how to do them, nor did I have the time. I saw lots more there for only $5.00 and plan on returning. I don't think you can lose!
