(READ the ENTIRE POST - Change the way you promote your products or services and see what happens! HONESTY is the KEY!)

    Hey Jack here again!
I am so sick of all the over hyped sales garbage! I have bought into it so many times.. I have lost tons of money! And you know what is the worst part?? My hopes and dreams of living comfortable and traveling with my family flushed down the drain.. My spirit being broke does not help either! So I have removed my self from the equation! I am no longer promoting these Magic Software Miracle Garbage websites!

I cannot keep promoting something that may make me a couple bucks but brakes someones spirit! No wonder everyone thinks making money online is not possible! No wonder people all think we are scammers!

I am done with the garbage! I am now only going to promote true legitimate ways of making money online! I am going to write articles all based around truth! Based on Ethical information!

Of course all my old articles and ads that are still out there will not be removed but I will not continue to write them! No more hype no more sales pitches!

I am going to focus on being "real" with my readers! I am not going to bash on the "Gurus" I am not going to say you can own a mansion or any other B.S. Sales GIMMIC!

We all should make the change! The reason no one joins our legitimate money making opportunities or listens to us when we give them real methods to making money online is because the INTERNET is so over filled with hype and push button sales garbage that no one will believe us! And if they do believe us they fall short because someone sends them another sales garbage letter telling them how they can earn $48,990 a month by using some push button miracle loop hole software that promises them riches!

Folks we are losing our credibility and our downlines to this garbage! I love how click bank offers a secure way of selling your quality information products.. but anymore it is all re hashed garbage being sold by another person and then on top of that you get at least 3 freakn up sells!!

DUDE when I buy a product.. that is all I want is the product and I want it to work right.. I do not want the buy the product then find out I have to buy 3 others just for the first one to work correctly!

I am going to be honest from here on out! Forget the sales pitches forget the push button miracle software garbage! I am going to focus on the honesty and integrity of my business! I am going to teach anyone who ends up following me in my business the right way to promote their business. I am writing articles about the correct and real way to make money online and I am going to teach the people who follow me the same thing, then they will teach the people who follow them the same way! HONESTY!

Oh Believe me you are not alone! I have been scammed several times in the past before as well! I keep falling victim to the push button software! I keep looking for short cuts.. well today is the day that changed everything! I am done helping these guys get rich off of destroying our dreams!

Thank you for reading my RANT AND RAVES!

Even if a product is good and will make the person money, some people will not take action and do what ever it takes to succeed online.

Yes, you have to be honest but action is very important.

I do agree action is a must. I am simply stating I am no longer going to put my time and effort into promoting garbage. I am no longer going to over hype programs just to earn a commission. I am going to go the Honest route.

If you want long term prosperity then honesty is the only way.
You can lie and cheat your way to fast money, and lose it just as fast.
A real world example is computer tech support, a common home based business.
I get called for a second opinion often for one simple reason,
if it is a loose cable I don't say you need a new hard drive!
One tech told a resort they lost their entire database during the holidays.
Gonna cost them thousands plus they had no clue who had reservations.
The owner asked me to take a look and minutes later it was up and running.
Seems the janitor kept bumping the cabinets with the vacuum cleaner
which made the hard drive cable move a little every day until it lost contact.
I folded a matchbook cover and wedged the cable in so it would stay forever.

So, did honesty pay? Not as much as the scam artist would have made that day.
That was 1987, he is long gone and I still get called for second opinions.
I'll take integrity over a fast buck any day.

Nice story! I hate that garbage.. that is why I do not let just anyone work on my cars.. It seems when I take them to certain places "other" things start going wrong when I just went in for a simple inspection. It is horrible the things people do in order to earn a quick buck.

LOL, they busted a gas station at the Grand Canyon years ago...
the gas jockeys would squirt oil on a shock and tell the people it was leaking.
They sold a lot of shock absorbers to unsuspecting tourist in a few months.
Gas jockeys? Do they still have those anywhere? Maybe that's why!

I can't tell you how many times I have been scammed as well. I have always advocated honesty is the best. The scammers get figured out eventually but not before alot of people have lost their money and dreams. So yes I agree with you completely. I have often said if the bad guys would create good ways to do things just imagine what a better place this world would be. Some of the bad guys are very creative unfortunately.

When I was waitressing I met a man that created viruses. He had stopped doing it by the time I had talked to him. But I asked him why he did it and he said because he could! How do you reason with that kind of thinking? [IMG]

And say that it is a scam because they thought that money will just jump up at them for starting out while they have not done anything to make it happen.

    Funny??........Some people think like that.

Well of course there are folks out there who believe if they simply sign up to a program and do nothing they will make money. However there is a fine line between those who work hard and achieve little and those who do nothing and make nothing. I am talking about the programs that claim success at the push of a button then you follow every single step and purchase all the upsells just to find out you are not going to make a darn cent.

I do agree there are tons of people out there who do nothing and expect something.

I'm honest on-line, it hasn't done me any favors or rewards BUT I have met some interesting people, they don't pay my bills, but they cheer me up when blue, be nice to get some cash, but maybe I just don't deserve any as I'm not nice enough and have no talents ? [IMG]

Jack, I could feel the disgust and frustration in your rant. [IMG]

There is no doubt that some marketers prey on the newbie, the gullible and the desperate by misrepresenting the truth about the inferior products they peddle. That's certainly not the ideal way to operate a business, but it happens.

On the other side of that coin is the consumer who blindly accepts the promotional copy at face value and makes no effort to coroborate the information through research and further investigation. They simply throw caution to the wind, ignore the sensible "buyer beware" advice and then are surprised when they get ripped off.

Then they are those consumers who totally misread and misunderstand what the product is intendned to do and realize only after they have bought it that it does not quite meet their particular needs.

JackDProvost: I am going to focus on the honesty and integrity of my business! I am going to teach anyone who ends up following me in my business the right way to promote their business.
That ought to be the approach of every serious business person anyway. It's how you grow a reputable business for the longterm!

Thank you for your reply sir.

I have purchased some software that has worked great. then again I have fallen victim to the money making scams. Check your PM box I sent you a link to one in particular I wrote a review on that is a filthy scam.

Honesty is still the best policy!! Your business may grow slower but will be more sustainable. Customers gained through hype are rarely sustainable. If you sell or recruit to people who are always looking for the easy way to make money, thye eventually realise that the program is not like that and then quit. I have seen some reputable and very honest online marketers and the success they have made of themselves speaks a lot about honesty.

I admire your standpoint and I must say that I am also pledging the same!

Honesty is the best policy. Recently I signed up for a free tour on a website that said "signup for $4.95, I listen to the video, read through the website and got to the join now part. It was 30 dollars. I wasnt looking for a cheap to join get rich quick scheme but I was just so shocked that there was no reference to the $4.95 anywhere in the website.
Now imagine if I was sold to their concept, I wouldnt have signed up coz I wouldnt believe anything they said.

Great post. I agree about the honesty part. I have lost a lot of money from different things, a lot of it was because I was a newbie and very trusting. Also I am honest so I just thought most people were, how very wrong I was.

The bottom line is people follow up you or join your program because of you, not the product or program. If you have built a relationship and they know you care about them and not just the money things will go much better. But honesty is very important.

Have to agree with everything being said here - but just another reason to 'write from the heart'

People are getting savvy about who they buy from online, many are going to two or three review sites before they buy and it does not take long before they realize that all the reviews are from the same swipe copy - this is where honesty is a massive bonus because it automatically puts you in a position of more trust with them - as Rebecca said - its about the relationship - especially in IM products.

People are learning to use their BS detectors, but people are also desperate. If you really want to help them then honesty is the best way to do it.

Of course some are also desperate and lazy - leave those ones to the real sharks [IMG]
