Google Alerts!!!

Hi everyone ..did a quick search for this on forum..didnt find any results so thought of posting it...

Google alerts at http://www.google.com/alerts is a tool provided by google to keep a track of latest updates happening in any topic u r intrerested in ...

set an alert for ur keyword and whenever anywhere on web an update is made regarding that keyword u ll get an alert..u have a choice to get updates from blogs,news,videos,discussions or everything...so if u want to get updates just from blogs then u can set it .

u can set an alert for your own site so that u can check out if anywhere on web ur site is being mentioned or anyone is linking to it

u can set an alert for any of ur products u sell so u can update ur blog as soon as any new things come up regarding your product.

I guess many people here must be using it..they can add to the list some more grt uses of google alert...after all internet marketing is a very large piece of pie..we all can have some

I have Google Alerts set up for various keywords, but to be honest I rarely use them. Maybe I will start take more notice of them now.

I actually just google my keyword a lot of times and comment on the first few blogs that come up.

Google alerts can also be used to provide fresh content for facebook fanpages...

sometimes we cant find good and fresh content for fanpages...

google alerts can be used to provide content that have been recently posted on a news or blogs or forums....

Yes, It is very nice I have also set this to alert me the blogs which are my project theme related.
