Google changes the SEO game article marketing is dead?

OK, so over a month since the Farmer/Panda update and I have actually increased ranking - both with my pages AND EZA articles - go figure!

eZine articles on my blog are drawing new search traffic lately.
Some of them have been posted for years but have new comments.
They used to get minimal views but now get search traffic to my sites.
Only the ones that have new comments or have been re-pinged recently.
The authors benefit from the backlink but the search traffic is goes to me.
Updating and pinging old pages helps get them re-indexed in search.
"Ping the Panda" is my new motto.
