First decide what is important to the person you are emailing.
Is the person most interested in increased sales?
Is the person more interested in increased traffic?
Or does the person want to be more competitive on the net.
Discover what that person wants most, then tell them who you are
then ask a simple question such as "would you be interested in a proven method to increase you sales as much as 20% this month?
Or would you be interested in a proven method for gaining market share over your competitors this month?
Would you be interested in some ideas that would give you a competitive edge in this market and create 20% more sales for you?
Remember for the 200 plus million Americans still working and prospering times are not that hard. Hard times are a reflection of your attitude you may be talking to someone who is making 10 grand a month or week and they are going to shy away from any negative talk about how hard things are. Just drop that off your sales letter nobody wants negative.
Next explain that you would only need 10 minutes of there time to show them what you have for them and that you could meet them at their convenience. (that is if they are local)
1 you have to give them a tease about what is most important to them.
2 you have to make them feel you will not waste their time.
End by saying you know that they are very busy so you have included you phone number if that would be easier for them to contact you.
Don't talk about anything else not your rates not your life style not you talk about them and how important they are and their time is
and you will get a response.
