That all depends on how you do it, E.g direct marketing or owning your own website with links to companies. I tried both but found having my own website to promote products off worked best for me. It also depends on how much time and effort you are prepared to put into it. Some affiliate marketers make very little while others rake the money in!
There is no limit to what you can make as an affiliate marketer. Rosalind Gardner makes well over $500,00/year, and describes how she does it in her Super Affiliate Handbook. If you are serious about affiliate marketing, it is possible to make a substantial income.
Well I know there are numerous people making in excess of $10,000 a month. The majority do NOT of course. For example John Chow is an Affilaite Marketer with his Blog and made over $38 K this past September. He actually posts his Earnings on his Website. But your question is very general because there are some who dont make a dime. And some who make a Living out of it. I think if you are consistent over a period of time and do your due diligence there is a possibility you can make a full time Living with it. Thats about 3K a month on most people's standards !!
Some make more than 10K, it depends on how much you are willing to compromise and what products you wish to sell.
If you believe everything people say then you can earn $100,000 a month but do not believe everything you read, sure you can make a lot of money but a lot depends on whom you decide to trust what i would say is if you are willing to learn and take your time and do your homework then the opportunity is awesome i am sure glad i got the chance. Good luck and give it a go.
No hard and fast rules but the vast majority don't make a dime, that's for sure. There are a lot of sharks and fake it till you make it types in the business. Like a poster above said, don't believe everything you read.
It all depends on the individual. In my best month, I earned about $1,675 in profit - I know a friend who quit his $120,000 day job after his affiliate earnings reached $500 a day. Don't let people persuade you not to get involved just because not everyone who gets into it fails. Ultimately, to make it in affiliate marketing you will need to work hard and think outside of the box, but you CAN succeed if you put your mind to it.
Well some do make alot of money, but I think you have to find the right techniques to do it. I would advise you to do some research on the things you are marketing so you know the success rate of others.
Just like anything else in life it comes down how hard you are willing to work at it.The biggest hurdle is finding a ebook that teaches you the tricks of the trade. There are a lot of them out there just pick wisely After you have the knowledge and know how the skies the limit!
It is possible for a person to make a lot of money doing affiliate marketing. However, it all depends on the amount of work a person is willing to put into it. You must take advantage of all of the marketing tools if you want to be successful. This means writing articles, placing ads in the free ad sections, getting your promotion links placed in search engines and blogging as well just to mention a few. It is a lot of work to start off, but once you get going you will see great profit returns.
It depends on a number of factors, but mostly how hard you work. Even if your keyword usage or product selection isn't great, if you write enough good quality articles and dedicate yourself to working hard, you'll make money. Being smart about things also helps. Optimally, the best affiliate marketer makes a lot of money thanks to selecting good products, writing well, and writing a lot.
I don't believe when someone online tells me how much they make. I work hard and smart to make as much as I can. Set your own objectives and develop a plan to get there.
Hay jhbizman, I'm new to this forum but I know a little about affiliate marketing. This type of work is the same as any other. How much you make is directly related to how much time and effort you put into it. Making $30 to $100 a day are realisitic figures for beginners. Of course this does not happen over night and you have to work at it. Once you have established a real money making system then the sky is the limit. If you are intrested in affiliate marketing then by all means go for it. With a real plan and an honest system you can do very well. I really hope this helps. Have a great day!!
Don't make the mistake of listening to people like John Chow and Rosalind Gardner. They make their money largely by making a big deal of how much they make. This does make them some good cash, but they'd have you think that they're some of the top earners of the industry. They're not. The top earners are usually the ones keeping their mouths shut. Most people who refer to themselves as "super affiliates" are laughed at by the people making 5-10 times what they are. Who are the real "super" affiliates? Look at the sites ranking in google for casinos, poker, loans, and dieting. The people that know how to dominate those niches are the millionaires in the industry, and I guarantee they wouldn't attribute their success to reading John Chow or Tyler Cruz or any other "look how much money I make" blog.
