My wife and I were hiking at the Devil's Punchbowl Natural Are. The hike was about 8 miles long, so we took a few hours. Coming back to the parking lot, we found our car like this.
That is sad. Glad you weren't in it! Same thing happened to a friend last year in N.M. Thankfully the Forest Service gave him a ride home. He had no insurance on it but now has the truck he wanted. When one door shuts another one opens if you look around. Hope you can move onward toward your dreams. Count your blessings and don't look back.
So sorry to hear of your misfortune. I'm glad you and your wife are safe. Once you get over the shock, celebrate the fact that you now have an opportunity to get a new car. Hermas
That's very painful to see. Like Hermas and Jimmy said, just remember, "It could have been worse". I do hope that your car was insured and loss isn't too much.
Thanks guys. I wanted a new car anyway. It doesn't look like the insurance will cover it. We'll see. It sure was a memorable easter. ^^
It's alright. Life goes on. My wife needs the car to get to work though. At the moment she's using her dad's car. We'll see what we'll get. Haven't decided on that one.
