Yup, I'm paying attention too. I've lost money with PPC and stick to free methods for now. But if they can give me some great pointers on Adwords, I might give it a try again. Good luck to us all!

So...I got the email today, and it is a pretty cool bonus! A free copy of Beating Adwords (which normally costs $67). I would LOVE a copy of that since I haven't had much luck with PPC before. But I don't see anywhere in the email where current members can get the bonus. Is this only for people who join WA now, or can current members get the bonus too? Hey Fatman, Unfortunately, its for new Wealthy Affiliate members only. Carson and Kyle are giving away the keywords, webpages, marketing angles, hot article marketing phrases, and many specific audiences to target. Nice, eh? I have a feeling that within an hour of K&C revealing that niche, there will be TONS of people scrambling to make articles/blogs/websites etc and try to make a profit. Thus the competition will grow exponentially, and instantly! Unless you already know what you are doing, I bet it will be a hard to niche to profit from. There are pros that are going to jump at the chance. I'm sure many newbies will be able to make some money from it, but eventually it will probably be dominated by the pros. HOWEVER, I am still looking forward to this. Like you said, they will reveal their keywords/websites/strategies/etc and SHOW us how to make money. Even if you don't promote that niche at all, hopefully we will all be able to learn something from their techniques at least. It is always good to hear about recent methods/success and I'm sure this will benefit everyone. Good luck to all of us!
Good points, Fatman. There will undoubtedly be plenty of new competition for that niche, and that niche will cease to become a niche, but the point is that you can apply what you learn from their case study to any niche to make it profitable - that is what anyone can take away from this.
I wouldn't let the saturation thing stop you from taking action. Competitive niches are typically the most profitable...and there's usually plenty of room for a ton of players. And most people won't do a damn thing. Sad, but true. Everyone loves the dream of giving up the day job...but rarely do they stick with it or take action. (don't be one of them!) So if you're already a WA member...get ready to rumble... If you're not, time to get off the fence... Dave B
Well, they introduced the "$1,000,000 niche" today, and it's not quite what I expected, but good nonetheless. Carson and Kyle have actually created their own product for a certain niche and it looks pretty good. It seems higher quality then the competition, and is cheaper, so I think it will convert well. They give you a list with tons of keywords so you can start writing articles and working on it right away. The list has low competition keywords, and although their search volume is pretty low, the number of keywords makes up for that. PPC is definitely a great way to make money with this if you are experienced with it. They also set up a system that creates custom websites for you. Just pick the type of site you want, plug in your Clickbank ID, and click create. A high quality, multi-page review style website made just for you in seconds. I'm still not sure I'm going to jump into this niche though. I'm sure it is possible to make money with it (there is room for a lot of people to do this)...however, it's just not a niche I'm interested in at the moment. I will keep going through the detailed guide they made though, and I may decide to change my mind though. Especially if I ever decide to do PPC I will definitely give this a go.
I was expecting more along the lines of a case study, but still they provide you with some great information about how to unserstand the niche in order to market it effectively, and I also like the new feeder sites, which you can easily modify to build websites for any industry.
Well, I think it's pretty awesome...and is probably the closest thing you'll ever get to having a profitable campaign handed to you on a plate. Taken with the guide it's as close to a case study as you are likely to get. Dave B
