Problem with Firefox and Internet explorer Browser site viewing, Help?

    Please can someone help me on this problem, Internet explorer and Firefox don't show my new building site the same way, a Internet explorer messes up the whole thing, can someone tell me with the tag code that I can use to eliminate this problem as I build my site with Notepad.thanks for help.

    Hi Samson,

    You'll need to supply more specific information before anyone could begin to diagnose the problem.

    The best help would be to provide a link to the site where we could SEE exactly how Internet Explorer messes up the whole thing, along with the versions of IE and Firefox you are using for comparison.

    The problem could be in your style sheet or the raw html code.

    In my experience, IE tends to be the most forgiving browser when it comes to rendering html code that may be less than perfect, while Opera demands absolute perfection.

    Go to http://validator.w3.org/ and have it check your html code.
    There are several options including using html Tidy to fix it.
    You can have it check a website or a file on your hard drive.
    Most of the time it has to do with rowspan and columns.
    IE does not like tables and reads them differently.
