Pulling the battery when not in use will prolong the battery and computer life. Exercise your battery regularly so it doesn't get lazy on you.
Yeah, for me I have to change to a new battery every 2.5-3 years. I have a Dell laptop and it drives me crazy when I the battery has been with me for that long and it will only give me like 2 minutes of battery time. I need to buy a new one but it is like over $140.
