Does anyone know which form to order the Travel Agent Id Card (IATA), I haven't found it on any of the order forms. My material didn't come with it.

    Hey Joe,
I believe it's referring to Inteletravel.com., they are an online licensed and bonded travel agency where you can obtain an IATA number to get you travel agent only discounts. They also have "FAM" trips, otherwise known as familiarization trips to take advantage of, this again is for travel agents only which you would be considered as an Independent Travel Agent if you join Inteletravel.

Although Inteletravel is not directly related to Coastal, it is endorsed and is another way to bring in prospects if they don't have the start up costs for Coastal....in short you don't need to be a part of Inteletravel.com it but it doesn't hurt to have the IATA card. When you sign up with them, you pay a month to month or yearly fee.
You can visit their site at inteletravel.com and if you so choose you can sign up under me! [IMG]

    Hi Roger,

I thought I saw it offered as part of the Coastal Vacations Premier Package on one of the call centers web pages. Not sure which one it was listed as part of the package. Maybe I was mistaken.

The deal with the travel agent option is that it was being administrated by a company that set up several different benefits for Coastal and for some reason the Board of Directors backed out of their deal with this company. We had a training call in the back office for a while that had the president of this company telling us all about it. It was really a great deal. You can see what was available to us at http://www.unlimitedtravelservices.com. You can still use his trip vouchers and everything on the website but you have to call him because he doesn't take orders through the site anymore. He's a SUPER nice guy. His name is Chance. You can get the card through him or you can do as Roger suggested and get it through his site. I have one and I know it does work to get great discounts.

The nature of the travel business is always changing. Stay connected to your group for the most upto date information about Coastal. Different groups have different relationships with Coastal.

February 2-4 the Coastal Synergy Group had a regional training event right here in Nashville. Jerry Deutsch, Inteletravel's CEO spoke at the event and shared some awsome benefits of the program with CSG Members.

Our back office has a direct link to get signed up. You earn $100 on ever team member who signs up.

    Hello,

I am also thinking about getting the Travel Agent ID card with http://www.unlimitedtravelservices.com
I wonder, do they also offer Discount Flights?
Is it only a one time fee the $199?

    Silvana,
I think the $199 is a one time fee and then you have a small monthly website fee of around $9 or $10 . This allows you to book travel for yourself and your friends and family and make a commission on those arrangments.

Thanks for reply to both of you.

luvtravel: Do you get cheap airline tickets through the RTA ID card? What benefits do you have with Traverus, if I may ask.

    Thanks.

Sorry I just saw the question

With Traverus the benefits are that I can use the program as a lead-in for Coastal
it lends credibility to your expertise in the travel industry

I have over 12 years travel industry experience with Hyatt corp (I was in their mgmt program) and with Forlow tours (I even escorted tours to CA and to Nashville TN) and took travel agent training in college.

I chose Traverus because of being able to sell Portal websites to businesses and to be able to offer fundraisers, if someone is looking for good deals to travel and not ready to buy the pkg I can still get a sale. There are so many many ways to use Traverus as a business if anyone is truly interested in joining [email protected]
