I am signing up for Commission Junction and it says I need to fill out a W-9. Upon completion what do I have to do annually for taxes? Any information on this would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Taylor

W-9 are just forms that confirm your tax id/SSN. They are not sent to the IRS.

You would need to keep track of your own records for any tax liabilities for your home business for commissions and income earned.

If you make more than $600 with your company, they'll report your income to the IRS (and send you a notice), so make sure you include it in your tax returns.

Keep track of all related receipts and any related expenses. For example, what you pay for site hosting may be a deductible expense.
