I use blogger and love it. It's very easy to learn and work with. I also have it fed with Feedburner to get subscriptions. Squidoo is good. It's called a lens but, it's essentially the same as a blog.
If your new to blogging I would personally set up a blogger blog. It's a lot easier to understand than Wordpress. It will give you some experience and getting the feel for blogging. You can always change to Wordpress at a later date. Dawn K
