YouTube the best free way to market your site?

I see a lot people marketing for free on YouTube videos. Big corporations to small website companies. I feel like its being able to advertise on television for free.

Is there a better and free way to market your site online?

I have a case study on my blog about a successful example.

Its not much like TV advertising in that people ar every selective
about what they choose to watch. Its very possible to get
traffic from it, as I do, but its not where people look for money-
making opportunities in general.

If you have a unique product that can be sold well with video,
thats what it is best for. Its also effective as a branding tool,
but its important to present yourself professionally.

Tasteless, funny, sexy videos get the most traffic. I don't
do these things however because they are not in alignment
with my business.

YouTube is popular only in countries where internet access is cheap and widely available.

I have seen a lot of people and companies advertise on YouTube.

This is a great way to get more visitors and sales through there.

It has become a HOT spot for so many videos and the traffic there is just going through the roof.

If you want to grow your business, go with YouTube.

If you want to get a new site or blog indexed fast...pop up a relevant YouTube video on it.

I'm always popping 'em on my blog... (they ain't always relevant either, sexy is cool )

Tell you what as well, videos are great for product reviews. Do one and then stick it on YouTube. Great for conversions.

These days everyone is using YouTube. I think it is a good marketing technique.

I prefer forum and blog postings. I find that these are the best ways to get your site indexed by including a pertinent signature on every post.

The key to each is to make sure you are not spamming by putting a one word post and a twenty word signature. Have valuable content to offer and people will respect what you say and often visit your website.

The other free way I prefer is article writing and distribution. Again, you get indexed quickly and are perceived as an expert in your niche.

Youtube is another way of marketing your website. But i don't think my business will fit into this kind of marketing.
